Server Failed. I'm giving up. it will not work and my server could barely hold 3 people. Sorry..

Edit : i play minecraft almost everyday so i have time to play on lots of servers

10.0.0.12:50500 did you change the port to 50500 becuase the ports are supossed to be 25565
and the ip isn't working i can help with it if you want

Yeah uh.. It works for me. Should I change my portforwarding to 25565?

Its because its lan it means its in your network or local internet

Alright I fixed it. I changed the port to 25565 and it works for me. Try it yourself and we'll see :biggrin.gif:

Im going to the multiplayer and typing in the 10.0.0.12:50500 ip and it wont work then i typed in 10.0.0.12:25565 so if you can help me, im still kinda new to MC but its awesome.

This is the first time I've hosted a server so I don't know what to do.. Gimme a minute

EDIT: I'm trying to portforward my server again but when I try the 25565 port for it, it sais "Port Conflict with Other Services"

Go to my server then i'll tell you how to fix it or how to do it

And no changeing the port to 25565 won't help unless you have port forwarding and other stuff setup

Dude I got it to work. I portforwarded it to 25565. Try it now


EDIT: ANNNDDD Fail.. I start the Minecraft Server thing and then it sais
[WARNING] **** FAILED TO BIND TO PORT!
[WARNING] The exception was: java.net.BindException: Cannot assign requested address: JVM_Bind
[WARNING] Perhaps a server is already running on that port?

Got it to work. What happend was that my ip changed lol

New IP: 10.0.0.5:25565

and also use the ip from whats my ip like example:25565
