Hey Dire, I was wondering what triggered the idea of the Forgecraft server? Did it start becuase of your reviews, your channel, or did you actually attempt to make a mod back in the day?
Thanks,

Having watched a few of your videos, I can tell you're an awesome guy =) Like the rest of the youtubers though, I've not the time to watch all 100-some-odd videos. So, my question is this:
Do you want pie?
(Random is as Random does =)

Question: If you were stranded on a desert island and could choose 5 items from minecraft to take with you, what would they be?

Answer:2 buckets of water, so I could make an infinite water source. 1 wheat seeds for infinite food. I dont know about the other 2
You'd probably want a block of dirt and a sapling.

Pearls of Wisdom. Or Ender Pearls. One of the two.
That a Good question. A Guy who asks a question like that is certainly worthy of my best reply.
OK - Let me come clean about my Minecraft activity and give a clear understanding that although I play this stuff and love it - I'm no expert but I'm willing to learn.
I played the game firstly as a crack, played the basic game with no Mods. Liked it so much I bought the license from Minecraft.
Befor buying the License I tryed to mod the game - First with Texture Packs ( I like the JohnSmith pack very much) I tryed a few more texture Packs never needing help. I just pasted thr zip pack in the Texture directory. Again the Texture Packs have always been sweet.
Ok - Now for Mods ( and thats where it sucks ) From reading info from the Net I learnt that the general method is to Locate the bin directory by typing at the Start search box ( I'm running Win7 ) then to open the minecraft.jar file with WinRaR - no problem there -
making sure along the way to delete the Meta-INF file and avoid the dreaded Black Screen no problem there - I then paste the entire contentts of the Mod, again opening the Mod with WinRaR into the opened minecraft.jar - that seems OK.
Now it sucks, for I never see any difference in the Game.
There is talk about other Modding Tools which I have tried 0 no difference - Clearing out all the files and trying makes no difference.
I sure hope we can get a resolve or I think I will scape the entire thing which would double suck..
Can you make a tutorial on RedPower2 for 1.4.6. like small things teaching us what's new? Like your Sorton video. I'm a noob (I go on retard mode when speaking of redstone) and I really like RP2, and would like to understand it 100%.
P.S: Thanks for your amazing videos that help us understand mods and all the amazing stuff minecraft+mods can do!
Thanks,
Tg7
