Dire, Disregard my first question (or second too cos' they're on the same post :P) and so I have another one. How did you know so much redstone a year ago and don't know jack now?

are you thinking of meeting up with other famous youtube minecraft players like capt. sparkles, yogscast, gamechap. ect to do mod spotlightes like you do with LuclinMCWB.

1) why wont you do a face cam?
2) if you do decide to do a face cam when will it go up?
3)how come you don't have an intro?oh and will you ever do another ftb server play season?

direwolf, I've been thinking long for a good question to ask since I only get one, but I'm rather disappointed that I can't think of one which satisfies my criteria. I enjoy the camaraderie your serverplay series shows, especially in the first few episodes of the latest series (as I try to watch all 50 of the ones I missed due to starting at around episode 50) and I enjoy looking at the machines you and your friends the modmakers have made.

So, I guess my question is, what's the inspiration you get for some of these builds, and how do you figure out how to do it? Is it just a case of "Gee, I wish it would do this function. I guess I had better make it do that somehow" ?

Also, I'm rather amazed at the frame system. When I played with a modpack which had RP2 in it, back in 1.2, I couldn't see the possibilities of the machines. As far as I was concerned, it was rather oblique to me, but watching you use the frames and frame motors and the covers, it makes so much sense, and it's so very cool...

It's not like Minecraft at all, but coding addons is really simple (because everything is in LUA), and there is an addon called WireMod that adds a LOT of logic stuff such and and/or/add etc... gates. It's not real electricity, but it's fun; there are also programmable gates, such as the Expression 2. I made a computer with it and what I like is to consider how I'll make things like the File System, because there is a lot of constraints.
I know a server where there is a lot of good developpers, and they'll teach you for sure everything you have to know.
