I am starting a UHC series for MCXB360 that is similar to the popular UHC played on PC. Obviously this version of UHC does not have any mods like those found in the PC version. Expect about 2 games per month. Party invites will be sent about 20 minutes before the game starts. Before signing up, please read all rules listed below.
The first UHC will be this Sunday (2014 June 22) at 3:30pm EDT (2:30pm CDT/1:30pm MDT/12:30pm PDT or 7:30pm UTC). The game type is a normal FFA. My GT: ertaithewiz
Rules Section A: General rules
1. Do not:
troll,
spam (repeatedly entering/leaving a bed),
harass,
act immature,
be annoying,
cause drama,
complain about glitch deaths or lag,
ask for rules to be changed,
ask for an early start.
2. This is single elimination. That means that you only have 1 life. Death for any reason is a death.
3. Gamertags will be turned off.
4. By joining the game, you acknowledge there are bugs in Minecraft. This means that any death by a
glitch, bug, or lag is a legit death.
5. Do not leave the game for any reason. This is potentially a form of cheating, and may lead to
disqualification. The host understands that disconnection may be due to other reasons (internet
failure). If disconnected, please ask the host if you may reconnect to the game. If a bathroom break
is needed, wall yourself in (phone booth) to protect yourself. Leaving the game in the middle of a
battle will earn you a disqualification. Repeated leaving during a battle will earn you a ban.
6. You must have a mic for team games. You may use private chat or other software (Skype, etc.).
7. Players will be invited to the party ~20 minutes before the game starts. Players not yet in the
party ~10 minutes before the game begins will have their spot filled by a substitute. Do not be late.
8. The host reserves the right to cancel the game in the event there is not enough players.
Additionally, the host reserves the right to cancel the game due to inclement weather (thunderstorms).
9. Do not expect a smooth ride. This is MCXB360 and lag will happen. Further, the host's internet
connection may disconnect for unexpected reasons. Please be patient.
10. Games will not start early.
11. There will be ~15 minute peace period. After ~15 minutes (first midnight), PVP will be enabled.
iPVP (indirect PVP by suffocation, etc.) before PVP has been enabled will earn you a disqualification
and temporary ban from future games.
12. There is a 3-hour time limit. After 3 hours has passed the host will ask everyone still in the
game to meet at X:0,Z:0. Please move to the center of the map as fast as you can. Repeatedly ignoring
the meet-up will disqualify you from the game and you will earn a temporary ban from future games.
13. The host reserves the right to determine the length of time players are banned. Players that have
been banned will be listed here, along with the reason for the ban and the duration of the ban.
14. You must have a great time. No exceptions.
15. Respect the host and the rules.
Section B: In-game rules
1. Do not start early. This also means no early exploring.
2. No branch/strip mining below level Y-40. Branch/strip mining is when you dig under Y=40
specifically for ores. Staircasing and digging to cave sounds or nearby players is allowed.
3. Towering is allowed with the following exceptions:
no towering at meet-up,
no towering past 20 blocks.
3. No spoiling. This includes sharing information about what someone has during the game or after
your death.
4. If you die, please leave the game as soon as possible. There is no spectating allowed. If you hang
around, you will be kicked.
5. No alliances. This does not mean you have to attack everyone you see if it would not benefit you.
6. There is no starter food, potions.
Section C: Hacks and cheating
1. Absolutely no cheating. This includes x-raying and duping. I am strict on cheaters because it
ruins the game for everyone.
2. If you catch someone cheating, please report them to the host. All reports will be throughly
investigated.
3. Cheaters will be allowed to appeal, however if caught, you will be banned from future games.
Section D: Team games
1. Team games will allow solo's, unless specified.
2. Team killing is forbidden.
3. Teams are randomly chosen and you will likely be teamed with players you do not know. Do not join
if you do not like randomized teams. If you leave/suicide after random teams are made because you
dislike your team, you will be banned.
Section E: Whitelist
1. You can only sign up after the date of the game has been announced. Trying to sign up before,
results in denial of your post. No exceptions.
2. If the number of slots is filled, you can still sign up as a substitute. Substitutes will be
invited to the party ~10 minutes before the game starts, unless the party is full.
3. The host reserves the right to pre-whitelist players. Do not ask to be pre-whitelisted.
Special game modes: Dragon Rush - In this game the goal is to reach the End and slay the dragon. The winner is the
player/team that slays the dragon. If no player/team is able to slay the dragon, the dragon wins
(even if you are the final player/team alive). The end portal, located at the center of the world, is
missing 3 ender eyes.
By signing up, the player acknowledges that they have read and agree with the terms of the rules. Failing to follow these rules may lead to disqualification or a ban. Rules are subject to change, and are open to suggestions. Please check these rules periodically for updates.
Season 1 featured JLL811, WiliestDeer9, YOUGURTSLINGER, HaZe Fluid, and ertaithewiz. YOUGURTSLINGER got first blood by taking out JLL811. Shortly after YOUGURTSLINGER was slain by WiliestDeer9 who was then killed by YOUGURTSLINGER's wolf. Much later into the game, after agreeing to meet in the center, ertaithewiz was burned to death by lava poured by HaZe Fluid. The seed used was: -8791434.
The first UHC will be this Sunday (2014 June 22) at 3:30pm EDT (2:30pm CDT/1:30pm MDT/12:30pm PDT or 7:30pm UTC). The game type is a normal FFA. My GT: ertaithewiz

The main reason is because I am not available every weekend, and I am generally not available on weekdays.
