Thank you for the very nice review. Great to hear your enjoying our service!
This service is amazing great help and cheap ontop of everything. My ticket to change my subdomain went through within minutes the server loads nicely no lag at all I couldn't ask for anything more!
We now support SRV try out srvtest.playmc.us on default port, it really is creeper2.playmc.us on port 27165 but with SRV now supported, everyone can use default ports! Please put in a ticket to have SRV added for your server.
Was just being silly, "we co-locate" just sounded so boring. Kinda of neat your such a big fan to notice though Oh! and thank you kindly for the free bump you gave us
Have another bump.
It's a spoiler because otherwise this post would be so damn long.
Here's a couple of facts:
I talked to him on live chat, guess what? He will simply avoid giving you a stamped picture of his rack.
But check this out, after talking to me on live chat, he gives me one of his servers (His thread states that he only has servers in Orlando and in Germany, correct?)
St. Louis, Missouri, right in Server4You's datacenter. (ISP is Hosting Solutions International)
Going one step back, we get to 38.104.162.66 (Cogent, this is out of the datacenter)
Which means, either he's leasing servers from Server4You (contacted them to do a deal)
OR
He's directly connected to Server4You's router, which means close to zero security.
Also, check out our lovely conversation below: (Ask for a picture of his rack yourself)
[Note to mods: PM me for screenshots of the chat, I have too many.]
You there?
Head Geek:
yes
Oh awesome
I was wondering if you had that picture I was asking for a couple of days back...
Head Geek:
Which picture?
Of the Rack?
Head Geek:
Don't recall saying I'd get you one
You did.
I mean, you should have 24/7 contact with your datacenter right?
So why not just call them up right now to take a picture?
Head Geek:
LOL
why would I waste a techs time with such a stupid request
Well, I want to see if you have a real rack
A couple of days ago I went here and asked for the pictures
Then I looked on the Minecraft Forums, and saw some retarded guy ranting about colocation
So I was wondering if you really are colocating or not
Head Geek:
Yeap, we are, how could our prices be this low otherwise?
Overselling, etc.
A simple picture would eliminate all doubts.
Head Geek:
your forgetting one thing
I could care less about your doubts
So, you don't care about a customer trying to get the best bang for his buck?
Head Geek:
What's the first and last name on your account so I can verify your a customer
I'm not a customer yet
I am a potential one though.
Head Geek:
k
oh yeah i have a pic for you
Stamped?
Head Geek:
someone the other day asked if we were at server4you
nope and I noticed they don't offer 1230s
so... http://www.geekcraft.net/creeper1.png
That doesn't prove anything
There's still no picture of a rack
Head Geek:
proves it's not a server4you server like your trying to claim it is jimmy
Never said it was Server4You
And I'm not Jimmy
Head Geek:
lol k
(Anyone here who he is referring to as 'Jimmy'? Also, thanks for the tip, without talking about Server4You, I probably wouldn't have done this post)
So, yes, if you want a host that has a(some) server(s) in St. Louis while only advertising for Orlando and Germany, choose these guys!
His thread states that he only has servers in Orlando and in Germany, correct?
That is incorrect, customers that are on creeper, redstone, diamond and bedrock were all advertised as St Louis, we do not list St Louis now as we are sold out in St Louis and will not be adding future servers to our node there, so we have stopped advertising that we offer service there. Why would we continue to advertise in our thread a sold out service? Our current nodes accepting orders are in Orlando and Germany.

No wonder you can keep your prices so low with such outdated hardware.
Because E3-1200 series and Kingston HyperX SSD's are so outdated, good to know! Plus our nodes are all currently sold out, but not one bad review about our service yet.. Yeah we are just so terribad.. /facepalm
Thank you mr. jealous host posting on an alt account for the free bump though.
I haven't tried their service, so can't say first hand, but a few customers who have switched to us, from them have said our network seems faster, our support seems more knowledgeable in terms of help with plug-ins and love our choice of several domains for their free sub-domain. Also our set-up is instant and we have live chat on our site, in our client area and on our control panel. We already support 1.3.1 and offer 24 hour trials. From what I read too they do not offer a money back guarantee. They must not be very confident in their own product if they don't even stand behind it with a guarantee of service.
This week we are also adding new locations, Orlando Fla and Germany.
Many well-known hosts don't offer a money back guarantee, as it's open to abuse.

I'm pretty sure that is against Paypal's Terms of Service not to and "open to abuse" is always just a lame excuse for a company that doesn't stand behind it's product. Simply state in your Terms of Service, in the event of refund request or chargeback dispute, we have the right to refuse any future services with you. Then when you issue a refund you prevent their e-mail address and paypal account from purchasing any future service in WHMCS.... There, abuse issue resolved, be professional and stand behind the services you offer. If they don't, your more then likely dealing with a teenage owner who already spent your fees on a new video game.

Edit: yay, page 3
If you submit a PayPal dispute, you have to have a valid reason for it.
If you just have a money back guarantee, people can use it to essentially get a free server for a limited amount of time.
EDIT: I also cannot find a TOS on your website.
EDIT2: What's with the WHOIS protection?
EDIT3: Look at the approved hosts at (http://www.minecraft...server-hosting/), and see how many of them offer a Money back guarantee. Not many.
Down to 14 GB before our new US server is sold out that we brought online this evening! Get it while you can at $5.00 per GB as these servers go fast! Instant set up and free sub-domain w/SRV for default port with every order.
Truly the best host , although they are a new hosting company there service is nearly perfect! Fast ticket/chat, response staff is always online to attend you, and a nice simple yet powerful control panel. Its everything is customer wants for a unbelievable price! I recommend if you ever have a chance to get this host, do it!
You have to be amazed with their amazing prices. I have seen other hosts with prices this low but dont have all the features geekcraft has to offer!
My old host (remaining nameless) Had amazing support and speeds but just didnt fit my needs. I asked if a port can be opened for DynMap, no. Asked to have a port opened for minestatus, no.
However, Geekcraft has great friendly support and actually lets you have ports opened! I am successfully running DynMap and hope to run Minestatus.
Their ssd drives have a great amount of storage for a small 1gb server
Need a cheap host and new to setting up servers? Go with GeekCraft all the way!

Here's a couple of facts:
I talked to him on live chat, guess what? He will simply avoid giving you a stamped picture of his rack.
His two test IPs:
5.9.223.11 http://www.ip-adress...acer/5.9.223.11 (Hetzner)
Okay, so what?
But check this out, after talking to me on live chat, he gives me one of his servers (His thread states that he only has servers in Orlando and in Germany, correct?)
He gives me a simple IP, no biggie: creeper.geekcraft.net (http://www.geekcraft.net/creeper1.png)
Pinging it we get 199.189.87.19 as the IP. http://www.ip-adress...r/199.189.87.19
No dice! We have no location.
Hold on, let's traceroute it: http://gyazo.com/81c...1460db1925a663a
What was that second to last IP? 209.239.125.3
Sounds interesting, where does that lead us to?

creeper and creeper2 are the same server, resolving to the same IP. creeper2 is used used strictly for SRV purposes.
