I've been researching, and I'm amazed at all the good reviews. It almost looks too good to be true. I've been burned a few times, so forgive me for being skeptical. Let me ask a few questions and think it over.
About how long does it take for a server to be up and running once it is paid for provided there are no set backs?
I see that your team is ready to step in and mod for us, but how much freedom are we given to mod for ourselves? Do we have full access to the jar files, or is this something only you can access?
Is it possible to run Bukkit and Minecraft mods together? For example, could you add Appleseed and/or Essentials and run it with Glixyl's Revenge mod?
We are a group of 10, and we love to have as many mods as we can cram on to the game without conflicts. Buildcraft, Industrycraft, Redpower, Mo'creatures, Millionaire, Railcraft, Ugocraft, and Pam's mod are among our favorites. Whats tier service should we look at getting in order to run a packed-to-the-rim game smoothly, yet remain reasonable in price?
What kind of security is in place against hackers and service hi-jacking?
Is there live support? How quickly do support tickets get answered?
Do you have a test server?
Hi Caideenah,
These questions are better answered via our ticketing system.
I can answer a few of these questions for you, however.
#1: It's generally instant, but currently our Los Angeles location is full, we're working on ordering new nodes which will be in our datacenter within a day or so.
#2: Yes we can install tekkit, as for the mod, I took a quick look at it, and there's nothing that we can't do to get it automated on our system.
#3: You will have to verify your compatibility yourself, we do not provide mod support specifically, we can however help you more in-depth with our plugin management addon.
#4: I would suggest at least 2GB of ram for your service to run well.
#5: I won't get into details, but we do not use the popular vulnerable control panels, such as multicraft or gamecp, So your data is secure.
#6: Our live chat system is dependent on the day of time, as well as the availability of our technicians. If it is a busy day, they generally sign off to help ticket response times.
#7: Yes, contact us for a free test server.

WOW! That was a really quick response. And you gave great answers. I'm going to talk this over with my spouse and see what he thinks. As far as I'm concerned, I'm sold. Thank you very much.

I'm considering getting a server with you guys and I have a few questions myself. (I'm used to running on a dedicated, so the shared approach is a bit new to me)
1. Do you allow ssh/sftp access?
2. Do we get access to all of the files (server.log, etc)?
3. If we have a world that we need imported, do we have access to the area where the worlds are stored (the 'root' area of minecraft) so that we can ftp/sftp the files?
4. If I do not want to deal with mcmyadmin can I request that it not be installed?
5. If I do not use mcmyadmin, what method would I be able to use to view/control my console, I'm used to running 'screens' on linux server via ssh.
I was also wondering if it's first come first serve, since your servers say "out of stock" on your website.
Open up a support ticket with the tier that you want to purchase. We're working on getting new servers provisioned in not only Atlanta, but Los Angeles as well.

These answers are best for our sales team. I will try to answer these as best as I can.
#1. We have FTP access, yes. No SSH/SSH OVER FTP, as you are not getting a VPS or a dedicated machine.
#2. Yes you get access to all of the files, minus the start script for obvious reasons.
#3. Yes, you can upload this via FTP, or better yet, upload it as a ZIP file and you can uncompress it using TCAdmin.
#4. McMyAdmin is not included by default. Standard packages will not be able to get it, premium is on request ( you can select via our order form ).
#5. You would be using TCAdmin V2.0, has a quite advance webconsole, as well as other various features. Like I've mentioned above, this is not a VPS, so you will not have screens or SSH.
Our new Dallas, TX, Chicago, IL, and Buffalo, NY nodes will be in, in under a week. We have limited stock of these machines, so get them quickly. Or better yet pre-order them!
Atlanta, GA is still ontrack for the end of October, and we have some pretty impressive specs for our Premium setup. More details coming onto Twitter and Facebook

I would like to buy a server, and, because my friends and I all live in the southeast, I would like to have the server hosted in Atlanta, GA. I understand that it isn't out yet, but on your website, the option to have the server hosted there is available. If I purchase a server with the option for Atlanta, GA selected, is this just like pre-ordering it? Also, does the month start when hosting starts in Atlanta or right when I buy it?
Thanks in advance; I've heard and seen lots of great reviews for MultiMinecraft, so I'm excited to buy a server from you guys!

Hi Hawkman,
I apologize for the slow response on forums. This isn't our main method of contact regarding sales question. I also believe you have submitted a ticket regarding this? if not, then it was a similar case that we have taken care of.
When you select Atlanta, GA, your order will not be provisioned until it is all ready. We can also have your service provisioned in another location first, then put you on our prioritized waiting list for Atlanta, GA, and once it is live, we can have your server transitioned over with little to no downtime.
Let us know if you have any further questions
-Joseph

Going from server to server, I was having trouble finding a suitable host that would support a Feed the Beast server due to its very demanding nature and CPU hog.
I finally came across Multiminecraft from another website and seeing that they actually owned their own server hardware and are running E5s, I decided to try them out.
1. Performance has been fantastic, their enterprise grade hardware really shows. Uptime has been spot on 100%.
2. Price, it is a bit steep but expected due to their costs.
3. Support. This is where they shine. Contact them during their working hours and you will receive a response promptly within anyway from minutes to an hour.
They recommended me mods to improve server performance such as TickThreading that modify the Forge mod files to utilize multithreading.
I was serviced by Joseph Wu and I have to applaud his commendable service.
Overall, great hardware, great support, reasonable pricing. If you want dependable and powerhouse servers, this is the place to go.
