Okay how to I make sure my server is on the correct version of Bukkit...621 or whatever?

How do I run the "command". What command?

Also how do I assign myself as Admin?

Edit the 'ops.txt' file and put in your account name, and to add another person, put their name on a new line.

The command I was referring to was the plugin command line. To enter a command in the game, type in '/<command> [parameters] [message] [extras]' into the chat window. For example, '/rules' will display the rules on the server which is actually base on the configuration of the plugins. The more common example that you see in almost every online game would be '/msg <target> <message>' command, '/msg player Hello player'.

You will have to read the command list to actually understand it and how to use them. There is really no shortcut around it. Most command description, the '<>' brackets means it is a mandatory parameter to enter in order for the command to work, whereas the '[]' brackets are optional parameters.

I just wanted to say, I saw someone using this host, after watching a video from a forum in bukkit.

Within 15 minutes I had my old server I was running off of my computer up and running.

The quality of the server is amazing, there is little to no lag what so ever. The prices are probably the best I have ever seen so far as I have been looking around for a hosting company for the last 2-3 weeks. Everything is simple to setup and move over using the FTP, and finally I love the built in bukkit feature you have that allows the ability to switch to what version you want to use.

I am in love with the new server and I want to thank you for providing them.

I know how to use commands from previous servers but I was wondering, first of all am I the only one who can use them?

Another thing, in most servers, when you join it pops up...Type /help for more commands, type /sethome....so on and so forth.

Anyway trying out this stuff now...

Alright it worked great thanks...although I don't really like it too much.

What would be a good plugin or a set of plugins..
Allowing Normal Players
-To Sethome
-Teleport to Spawn

Then for me as the Admin
-To have a colored name, so I can be easily recognized
-Warp People to me, or each other
-Kick/ban people
-Give and Remove Items

I saw group manager was supposed to be good...not sure about the other stuff though.

EDIT: I found the ColorMe Plugin, and I am using that to change name colors, and Prefixer to add my Admin tag.

EDIT: I found 4 plugins that give me everything I need...but I still need something that allows me to give items...suggestions?

Where are your servers located? I'm in the LA area, will i be guaranteed a server in the LA area?

'/give <player> <item_id> <qauntity>' is a default server op command, some plugins makes it easier to type or use with short commands like '/i <item_id> <quantity>' for giving item to self for example. The max quantity given at a single time is 64.

If you want to set permissions up for specific user or group, you will need to install plugins that allows it, such as Permission with PermissionPlus for ingame commands, Essentials with EssentialsGroupManager & EssentialsGroupBridge together, or GroupManager with FakePermissions. There may be other ones, but I wouldn't know them ^^;

By default, all plugins commands are available to all players. This does not mean all players have access to all the server default commands.

Our servers are located in Dallas, Texas - however the distance will not matter in your case. For that matter, people from other continents report great speeds.

Thank you for answering all my questions, I did end up getting a server with you guys. I am left with one questions, is there a way you can access the consle so I can see if an error pops up (especially on start up)? I know I can just check my log, but I am looking for an easier way :3

I'm having a lot of troubles with my server atm. JWJ is trying his best to fix it and I appreciate it. I'm hoping we can get something done about it though.

It appears my server crashed D: I cant go into TCAdmin and nobody can connect so...

My server just came up again in a minute, no problems.

We had to restart some of the servers. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you - everything should be back up and running now.

I bought bedrock tier couple days ago, so far i've been playing on it with two friends. I must say (note, im not saying this is Brohoster issue, it might be something else), sometimes, really, just sometimes the server starts lagging like heck. 10 second delay and such. I dont think its our connection speed, because usually its fine.
The connection indeed is good and me and my friends are satisfied, but really - at some random points it starts to lag like hell, usually for about 2 minutes to half an hour.

Will you get servers located in Europe?
