How can you afford to run your high quality servers plus your company with 2.50$/GB?
Yeah, I would love to buy a server here, but most hosts die because they don't get enough profit on prices like this. I want to know if it's worth it to buy a server here.
Upon special request, would it be possible to create a Multicraft user for my server? There's a possibility I will be starting a network of servers with different divisions of Minecraft gameplay. I would like to give certain people access to the Multicraft control panel, but not give them the original account name information.
Just like koki has asked, how is it that you pay for these servers, a more detail look into how you do it may put some ease to customer minds. Like others have stated, many companies here have come and gone, looking for a good, long term host can be hard at an affordable price.
So I decided to purchase this service, quite excited for my friends and I to begin our adventures on Hexxit, but there is no drop down selection from the server jar menu so I opened a support ticket, and I'm awaiting a response sometime tonight.
Review: To be announced until I get a response and get the server running on the correct jar.

Our pricing has been decided very carefully. We wanted to be able to provide both some of the cheapest servers in the industry, but also using some of the best specs. We concluded that $2.50/GB would make a profit, however this profit is obviously not enough to run the company. For us to make a profit each month, we really just need to be of reasonable size, as the profit of a couple nodes are sacrificed for the cost of the company. Being in the Minecraft industry for 3 years and the hosting industry for 5 as well as running a (hosting) business most of that time, and our staff who mostly have 3+ years of experience has given myself and our staff the skills to make this possible.

It's definitely worth trying us out! Our prices are more than just a number we chose, we've carefully calculated it to assure it works for us and that we can last in the industry. We won't be leaving any time soon!

1. Yes, this is very possible. Just contact our support team and we can set this up for you.
2. You can read my response to koki's question above.

Thanks for choosing TaurSlots! Unfortunately we don't have 1-click mod installs in our panel yet, however our staff are willing to set up or assist in setting up your mod packs. We've received your ticket and someone from our support team has been assigned to install Hexxit for you.
Just bought a server. No Lag at all. Definatly recommend them over ggservers. Ggservers support was terrible and my players constantly had network lag. Taurslots support has been responding within 10 minutes. To test out the speed and awesomeness of their hosting join my server: Unitycraftmc.us.to

Ok, I bought a server, and I'll give my opinion after using it for a while.
I know it hasn't been long at all, but I was wondering how your experience was so far?
You know, the server has crushed my expectation of it. Since it was only 2.50 a GB, I would think that there would be bad support, lagging machines, and downtime, but its been the complete opposite. The machines are working great, and there hasn't been any type of lag so far on my small white-listed community server. I've only sent one ticket to enable the custom jar, and that ticket was responded to very fast. I can't really send anymore tickets if everything is working flawlessly. So in conclusion, I would definitely recommend this host to everybody, because why would you spend 10.00 a GB somewhere else when you get the same machines, and no lag on Taurslots for a quarter of the price?

Great, I will look into getting a server, thanks for sharing your experience

I was really intrigued by your service and my gaming group decided to give you a try, but thus far I'm... a bit stymied.
We run a custom forge server and a custom modpack - and according to your FAQ custom jars are supported - but I'm failing to see any method to upload a custom jar via FTP or select a custom jar from the multicraft panel. I've managed a server with multicraft for over a year, so I know at least one reliable method for doing so, but haven't had any luck getting it to work on Taurslots' version of the panel. This is a major issue, since we need to see whether the server specs we purchased will be able to handle our software.
We were hoping to test things out today and make our decision while we had the 24 hour period to ask for a refund, but it's now been well over an hour since I submitted a ticket asking for help and haven't gotten any response. We effectively can't start until this gets resolved. Is there some method for enabling a custom JAR through Multicraft that I'm missing, or do you need to enable that on request?
I can't seem to get my custom JAR working, even though it's supposedly enabled. I'm not too familiar with multicraft, so I could be doing something wrong. I've opened a ticket and it's been almost 4 hours without a response. Like the guy above, I'd also like to figure this out before my 24 hour period for a refund is over, since I need to see if my modpack will work well with your servers.
I think, from the top of my head, you have to type the name of your .jar file into the box ' JAR File' (with the .jar extension) and then upload your .jar to the servers main directory.
But there isn't any box to type in the JAR's name. I don't know if it's just like that or if it's because they haven't enabled custom JARs for my server. It's been over 8 hours now, and no response from them. I even opened up a new ticket, and still no response. I'm really disappointed so far

No problem. And I hope that TaurSlots get the great reputation they deserve as well.

The ability to use a custom JAR must be enabled on request. This has now been enabled for your server.
