Phoenix Convention Center would be a wonderful place to hold Minecon next year, Phoenix is a big city, one of the most populated cites in the US (I think like top 6)!
Personally, even though I live in NZ, I think Minecon should be in Canada. Canada has a pretty high amount of people who play minecraft there as well. Maybe even Australia.
I was just thinking this a minute ago, but everyone who wants it on the Eastern part of U.S, I don't think there will be one there again due to the fact that this year we already had it on east coast. In fact there may be no Minecon in the us for this year.. Look at all these years,
2010: US
2011: US
2012: EU
2013: US
They might want to give other countries a chance, or maybe they really like US and want it to stick there. Well who knows, we won't know some real detail from Mojang until around Spring 2014...
I always wanted to go to minecon and I live in Canada. I would love if it was in Canada but I don't mind if it was like in new York or Boston or something. If they were gonna plop it in Canada I think they could put it in Toronto were there gonna make tons of money
First things first, as much as i wish it would be in the Eastern US, it won't. Simple as that. However, Western US is still an option (by the time Minecon 2014 comes around it will have been 3 years from the time Minecon was held anywhere near the West)
Second, sorry Australian gamers, but the chances of Minecon coming to you are very slim. This is simply becuase it is far to great an inconvienence for American, Canadian, or Euro gamers to get to you. If the majority of players were to live in Australia, then there would be a great chance, but because it is nearly impossible for an average American, Canadian, or Euro gamer to afford the thousands of dollars it would cost, it wont happen. (The same also applies to Japan, New Zeland, etc.)
Third (and i already touched on this), no Minecon will ever take place in: South America, Africa, or Asia, simply because of the lack of minecraft players there.
My guesses:
1. The UK
2. California
3. Canada
HOWEVER,
If I were Mojang (which i am obviously not), I would start putting on two staggered Minecons per year. It would be a lot of work, but it would allow more minecrafters to experience Minecon. For example, maybe a spring Minecon in Tornato and a Fall Minecon in London. Next year one in CA and another in Australia...
I think it should be in Canada. Maybe even in Saskatchewan. It is easy to reach from the us and Saskatchewan is like the District 12 of real life. We mine diamonds, coal, uranium and gold and we also farm. Only downside..... No zombies :(Also Saskatchewan has less taxes and lower costs if items. It's also near the center of Canada. Anyone of your guys' suggestions would be awesome, but if you want a less expensive and more reasonable place to have Minecon, think of Saskatchewan or at least Canada.

Frodo277 the hobbit of minecraft!!! Beat those baby faces!!!
Just to remind everybody, Mojang has to have it where the majority of people can get to easliy. That will be a place that is used to having large amounts of people coming through their doors.
Rule 1: It will be in a country that is stable.
Rule 2: It will be in a city which hasn't hosted it before.
Rule 3: The city will be a good distance away from any place which has already hosted it.
Rule 4: According to the very limited pattern, it won't be in "Murica.
Rule 5: It probably won't be where you live, and if it is, lucky you.

i have no idea what im doing.
I'm up to date on Homestuck if that matters :I
I am not exactly sure where they plan to go next, however it won't be in the Americas, since they did that this year. Usually it's somewhere luxurious for them, and unappealingly hard for many people to get to since it's usually on one side of a country or the other, nowhere conveniently central. Actually, last time was Disney in France, right? That feels like such a short time ago. I bet they'll have another theme park or something. Although a convenient location would be better.
