Hey everyone! I'm just saying sorry to anyone who couldn't get tickets. I got a ticket, but I know how many people wanted them. I'm gonna post about all three batches here.
BATCH ONE
In this batch, nothing really went wrong, but the MineCon ticket counter broke and thought there were no tickets left. Mojang specifically said those tickets sold in less than 3 seconds. I know most of you didnt get tickets that day. I didnt either.
BATCH TWO
In this batch, I GOT MY TICKET!!! I was SOOO happy. anyway. this batch was more stable. they fixed the ticket counter, and then I know some of you got a ticket, but not everyone, unfortunately.
BATCH THREE
I didnt get a chance to see the turn out of this one, but I know more people got their ticket
Im sorry to ANYONE who could not go to MineCon. I know most of you wanted it in Australia, and Canada, but I'm sorry. this is Mojang's choice.
Thank you for reading. im still sorry to any one who could not go to MineCon.

Sorry if my post is too small the thing was buggy I had to do it
Mojang should look into expanding MineCon, and selling more tickets. Judging by how the first batch sold out in three seconds, it would be a very large profit.

I feel bad to those who didn't get tickets, but the can't simply SELL MORE!
In America, they have a building capacity of the amount or people that can be in the building at once. It is considered a fire hazard if more than the limit of people are in the building. I don't mean to be rude but I hate it when people make petitions for selling more tickets. I know no one did in this forum, but they do on others, and it es me off quite frankly.
I am not sorry for people. It sucks but that is how it is. And they made a decision. And a good one imo. Sure they could sell more and people would have a lesser quality experience. Or they can sell what they sold and retain a quality experience for the people that are going. So lets say they doubled to 15,000 people. Would you really prefer a mediocre experience with long lines everywhere and not enough room for everyone to get into the different panels and ceremonies? Sounds pretty lame to me. I think they are going for a quality experience and are making sure that they can support that with the amount of tickets sold. If this means you don't get to go, then so be it. But stop being so whiny about it. Better luck next time. And stop suggesting that Mojang ruin our experience so you can get a mediocre one.
well yes they do but not direct. It is called marketing for a reason. They get money by keeping people interested in the game and getting friends to buy it and the console versions. And you can't forget merchandise. The publicity is very important. What I am trying to get at is the idea Mojang just does this from the bottom of their heart is silly. And to act like one should just be grateful is also silly. I love playing Minecraft and I have given it as a gift. I am siked to go to Minecon. But I know they get something for it as well and that is totally okay. But it isn't charity and you should not think it is. Remember this game's success built on social media so having an event like this is good for them as much as it is good for fans of the game.

They don't lose money. It is a marketing expense. Geez it is like no one knows anything about business here.
