I know other posts are on here talking about how the tickets are so somewhat expensive, and I was wondering what the tickets even included? We've only been told about the cape so far, which will be pretty sweet, but seriously, is Mojang going to have like a chocolate fountain made of pure gold or something?!

If I remember correctly from last year, there was a "gift pack" or something like that that contained Minecraft stickers, a bag, a mouse pad, and some other stuff that I can't remember.

Well, from a Video, I saw that a kid got a goodie bag with some stickers a mouse pad and other cool stuff. (Also a Xbox 360 Cape Code, but I don't know if they do that anymore.)

That wouldn't be fun if they only gave out Xbox capes, I don't even own an Xbox. :/
If I saw correctly, we can perhaps hope for a free Minecraft premium account code (and not a scam like in thousands of youtube videos), according to the content of the Minecon 2012 goodies bag at least. But there's no garantee it will be in the 2013, we might get other surprises instead. I know there was a bunch of ads and such mostly because I've watched a goodie bag review on youtube.
Man, I can't wait to get a stack of advertisement flyers in my goodie bag!
Me too, I love to rip them apart and throw them in the trash while capturing everything on camera without even reading them (I still make sure none of it content anything important before, just to be safe don't want to throw a free gift account card if one is there) I'll be sure to post that on Youtube if I can do it directly from the Minecon, at least I can post video like that, would love to post Minecraft videos, but I can't my fps is around 4-8 while Fraps is turned on on my computer.
Minecraft is coming to the PS4, PS3, and Vita! They just announced it for PS4 awhile ago at Gamescom and then Notch and Jeb confirmed the other two platforms via Twitter! I think there's a good chance Minecon attendees might get a code for a cape and/or game download for these platforms at Minecon!

That would probably be more useful than the premium PC accounts they were giving out before to people who most likely already had one (Though I do assume they were for friends)

I was being sarcastic when I said I couldn't wait to get my stack of fliers I think I should go around asking everyone if they want theirs just to see how many ads I can get
