A freind of mine recently gave me an old minecraft account that he doesn't want (Lord-Zendrix). Trouble is, he forgot the password. So, he gives me the password for the Hotmail acc it is tied to (poopy.78) and tells me to do a reset. I put the email into account.mojang.com/passwordreset/request and it says "Success! We have sent you instructions for resetting your password." But I never get the email. Why? is it really tied to that Hotmail acc? is there a glitch? Help please!
Certain email providers can block, or delay the email being sent. I suggest waiting a bit longer, I've seen people only receiving it around ~6 hours after request.
