Hello everyone. My friend lukas60's Minecraft account has been hacked. We have tried entering different passwords so many times, and the email he had entered is invalid so he can't be sent an email about the problem from Mojang. Yesterday (28-Jan-13) someone changed his skin. He thought it was just a prank by someone but we were all shocked since nobody did it, and today (29-Jan-13) he can't log in!
He didn't post this himself because of the following reasons:
1) He doesn't know very good English
2) He doesn't have a Curse account (or Minecraft Forums account)
Is there a way to get his Minecraft account back or does he have to buy the game again?! Thanks.

Without a valid eMail, there is no way to recover that account.
But, I'm not positive and have no experience but you can try making a new account first, and playing the game, and not have to buy it again, but I don't know (Based on the fact that Minecraft has significantly more registered users then people who have bought the game.)
But, again, with no eMail linked to the account, that account is no longer usable, make sure to tell any server admins about it so they can ban his old account once he gets a new one.
And I doubt this is your fault, but still stressing, use a valid eMail. If you don't want to give your eMail out on the internet, make a junk mail gMail or some other free eMails to collect eMails like these. But no matter what, use a valid eMail.
OR he did /register <realpassword> on a cracked server and the owner is a nutjob, unless the passwords in the logs are hashed wich is unfortunately rare.
Nope, we only go on legit servers and he never puts his real password.
But if the mojang account page isn't accessible and no transaction ID is available then mojang won't be able to do anything as they need the transaction ID for proof of ownership
He can't even log in and you are telling us to go to the account? Genius.
I'm no genius with this, and I know it's a month old, however, do what Webrosc said. And Mojang usually email you the transaction ID. Also, the previous guy, I believe he was talking to the other guy.
This really is not smart to have 3 people, i would go only two BUT even that is a risk. Maybe if you could ask him or call mojang and ask for the password and email. Yes, you would have to actually give them some of your personal info, but hey, you could get your account back
don't ask me if i know the number
i don't sorry
mabye look it up somewhere in google bing or yahoo

Why would this be fake? Anyway we have tried resetting but as I mentioned in the post the email is invalid. Instead of a .com he had entered a .gr ...
I know his password because we're best friends and one of our best friends knows it too. But that's it. Only 3 people know the password.
