Mojang, about a week ago I purchased minecraft premium for $27. I then downloaded the client you linked me through email, and attempted to log in. I received the "Login Failed" message under my username. I tried to log in about 15 times, all with this same message. I then checked if my account was premium with this link I found on google, and it said "FarmerFist premium = true." However, when I look on my Mojang profile it still says I need to buy premium. I checked paypal, and yes you charged me and I paid $27. And yes, you gave me my confirmation of payment and whatnot through email, confirming my account is premium. So I emailed your customer support, and of course I have no response after a week. I mean why would you answer, you already stole my money why should you help me. So my question is, can anyone help me at all or did Mojang just decided to steal my money?
I did it through their support page on their website. Its been about 10 days and I havn't gotten a reply as to why they stole my money. So as far as I'm concerned they are thieves.
yes, same happened to me. I keep hearing this excuse about them being a small company. They weren't too small to take my money, they aren't too small to activate my account. Also, they've sold over 8million copies of this game. You'd think they'd have a clue by now. Reports like this are all over the forums. Pretty soon they're going to be facing a class action lawsuit.

So this same thing has happened to you, and no reply from them?
The fact that they steal my money, confirm me through email as being premium and then ignore me after taking my money with no known solution shows that mojang is a terrible company.

Ok... lemme get another thing straight about Mojang and their tech support. This relates to both the page that webrosc linked you to, and to the others on this topic saying that Mojang is a small company and whatnot. Along with the linked page, it says...
"Mojang customer support operates Monday through Friday, and has agents in both Sweden and the US."
I have bolded what you need to pay attention to, to go along with what webrosc has described. Really, the whole page is to be paid attention, but anyways... So your problem is not for Mojang's devs to deal with, unless their game is faulty in some way, but instead it's the customer support agents. Mojang may be a small company of devs, but the customer support for it may be smaller, or less active. Less active would be hard to believe as customer support runs Monday through Friday, BUT that doesn't guarantee that it absolutely WILL run on a particular week. In other words: In life, bad things always happen, and lots of times, more-so than usual.
I will also say this... Mojang is NOT a terrible company... go to minecraft.net, and look at how many people have bought Minecraft, and determine for yourself if Mojang is bad or not. Wild accusations are usually not the way to go, and if you really think that you are right and all others are wrong, either think again, or don't ever speak your mind related to that subject. I do not speak this way to hurt you, but to help you. I am not trying to offend you, I am trying to speak in a sensible manner, alright?
Anyway, I hope your problem is fixed. I have no idea what is going on with your account premium status, but I really hope you can become premium like many of us on these forums.
My problem is that instead of waiting to make my account actually work then take my money, they take it away and then don't give me a product. That would be the definition of stealing and scamming.

I ordered it around December 28th-31st. And something that is automated by a computer should not be able to have an excuse that "Oh they are a small company." They validated me through email saying that I was premium, confirmed my payment and paypal even says they withdrew my money. Alot of people have this issue and to be honest they can be part of a class action lawsuit if this keeps up.
Send them another e=mail possibly, or just wait. Also make sure you're logging in with your e-mail, not your username. Confirm the password is also correct. As said, Failed Login can mean many things. Your account details are evidently incorrect, because you'd be able to log in to the website whether you're premium or not. If you're trying to log into the launcher, it would say that the account is not premium, not that the login failed.
I've tried all of that.. the minecraft website itself still gives me the option to buy premium like what the I paid for it and mojang even gave me my receipt and validation code and all that good and obviously yes, I do know my password if I can log onto the site
So I'm still totally screwed even after two+ weeks worth of waiting? Its done over the internet for god sakes it should be an instant redemption of my product.

Sounds like the following:
1) Didn't do it right.
2) Failed.
3) Didn't download the right client.
4) Bought it from somewhere that wasn't www.minecraft.net
5) Eh.
So this same thing has happened to you, and no reply from them?

Holy you're an ignorant little kid.
EDIT: And redundant.
