Recent slime block changes have really opened up mechanics options in Minecraft, for the technically inclined! Today, we take a look at Lextube's demonstrations of various flying machines, doors made with slime blocks, and more. Enjoy!
Good stuff, looks like a lot of fun to toy with. However, the only issue is slime blocks sticking to everything they're in contact with, but I'm sure there are ways to remedy this (without tons of obsidian everywhere anyway) and create useful contraptions.

Ladies and Gentleman, Welcome to a new era of Redstone Engineering!
After a breakthrough made by ZipKrowd, Implemented by Mojang, We are now entering a new Age of circuitry and systems!
So... now it's only matter of time when some crafty bugger will find a way to put a block(s) of TNT and some kind of fuze on his "flying machine" and the Age of Cruise Missiles Terror begins!

I'm too lazy to post pics or videos, but here is how to do it.
Build two of the most simplistic flying machines (the one showed in the video) One two blocks above the other and behind it a short distance.
On the first one add extra slime blocks to the front and attach TNT on the top(sides as well, they will go off after the first one detonates)
On the second one simply add an extra redstone block on the underside of the front slime block.
When the first one hits something that adds too many blocks or is immovable it stops, then the second one catches up and triggers the TNT.

I've made a few models in my single player world; The smallest I've gotten them to be is 3x3x7. My best so far ignites on impact with any block, and clone-able with a 2 block high trigger (1 high with command blocks). I'm still working on more models, to try to shrink down the size as much as possible.
My only complaints about this new tech: they are slow, and if you shoot a bow with flame it explodes.
For a tutorial, I recommend you watch RonnygoBOOM's video <>

No ICBM mods required
Couldn't that be taken offensively? Like saying this is only for people who can't use technology?
