requires a new world? thats gay! I am building a massive 500x500 underwater city for months now! how am i sposed to get that in a new world? but all the same jungles yes oh ya yes good
This is one of my favorite snapshots! The jungles look fantastic!!!!!! The only thing that could be better, is NPC villagers carrying quests/shops. That would make Minecraft 20% more boss.
I love the update except for a few things. If you upgrade the jar file it does something to your save files which makes your saved superflat game have the fog found at the bottom of the map.

If you can see that egg it has less than 10 minutes to live!
1. Download the Client version from the link.
2. In windows, it's usually downloaded as minecraft.zip. Rename it to minecraft.jar. Copy it.
3. Go to Users/->Yournamehere->AppData->Roaming->.minecraft->bin. If AppData does not show, search for %AppData%
4. Paste the downloaded minecraft.jar here.
5. Launch the client.
6. ???
7. Profit?
Should you ever want to return to Minecraft 1.1, go to Options in the launcher and click on Force update, then login.
I would much rather see jungle ruins like the ones in India , far more interesting and epic then any Mayan or Aztec ones , or maybe all 3 for variety :smile.gif: Either way , nice snapshot and jebs tweet about them wanting to add jungle animals in is great .
Now if only we can get sponges added into the ocean biomes and given a use...And some more work on minecarts and rails...sounds , graphical touches...controllable booster rails that let us set a 20-100% power brake or speed boost would be awesome , and let us make some real rides and coasters...that along with a boarding rail from Railcraft would be amazing...
That is about as close as there is as confirmation of new mobs coming soon, but why only for jungles??
