Wait, so because someone made a stupid, cruel and distasteful joke to YOU over 10 years ago, now EVERYTHING related to AF, regardles of WHO and HOW was doing it is "BS" and hence EVERYONE should stop making jokes?
Are you serious? (no, pun not intended).
I'm feeling sorry for your loss, and I think this kind of "joke" you have to deal with in the past can't be more wrong and less funny. But fortunately not all people are as stupid as this kind of "jokers". Majority of them are pretty sensible, and know where to stop. So please refrain from projecting your own - as unpleasant as they sometimes might been - experiences to other people and trying to force them to adopt them as a way of doing something intended for harmless fun. Because this is what is a textbook example of lacking any sense of humor.
As I said previously, "Some things, you never let go of, and some things leave a scar that will never heal. This day, being that thing for me , and pranks in general. Some just can not deal. I'm one such person." I laugh at plenty of things, but pranks? no. You can still have a sense of humor and still not like other things. just because I do not find funny what you do, doesn't negate my own sense of humor.
I don't know about you guys, but I just didn't find this one quite as funny, maybe because it just isn't the first joke attempt here... It just seemed more like one of those make "ridiculous rules that clearly make absolutely no sense just to be funny" type of thing, such as no driving on the road, as apparently we can't post in existing threads or make new ones. Although the cat thing was funny, can't deny that one.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
"A sword yields no power if the person who wields it holds no courage."
For the record, I think the sounds are hilarious, although to be fair they do get old FAST.
This thread on they other hand, is an incredibly tired regurgitation of the default "joke" on all forums.
...aaaand, tons of people would disagree with me, point being that senses of humour differ wildly from person to person, so perhaps if a joke is forced upon a paying customer by temporarily altering their game, said joke should come bundled with a simple way to disable it.
While the sounds are funny, they make the game all-but unplayable and there is no obvious way to disable them, which is just flat-out disrespectful to those who don't find them funny and just want to play the game that they paid for.
We can say "oh, lighten-up" to such people as much as we want, but we can't make them see the humour.
In short, funny joke imo, but completely disrespectful delivery.
