Well some of you might hate me for saying this but Jeb did kinda do most of the newer work. If you look just on the past front page top of mc forums its like "Jeb did this" "Jeb did that" "notch considered this". And with this maybe npcs will talk sometime.

It would have looked bad for Notch if he handed the project over to Jeb before the game was out of beta. Based on Jeb's Twitter, you could tell since the working of 1.8, that Notch was handing over more and more duties of Minecraft to him.
I'm all in favor of Jeb officially taking the lead, considering how he has been working on the project alone multiple times so far.
Also, 23cool1234, there needs to be even MORE NOTCH based temples now, considering the fact that he's now the ever watching, but rarely acting, benevolent God of Minecraft.
Meh, Saw it coming, notch worked less and less whilst jeb worked more and more, he has the players views insight while notch does he likes vanilla a bit more :biggrin.gif: (not saying that's bad at all).

Been noticing this phenomenon more where people who hold standards that above average are silenced while those with standards lower than average are viewed as pleasant and preferable. No wonder mass media is in such ****.
I thought notch was doing a great job in developing minecraft. but im a little questioning about jeb taking over but I believe jeb will do a great job. and i dont care what people say like minecraft will suck now i think this is the closing of one door and the opening of another great one. ;D

Meh, I like the idea of it being similar to Isaac and Ishmael, and Minecraft being Abraham. It makes the split more dramatic.

Besides, Jeb is awesome, and will probably bring a lot of bigger and better content to Minecraft.
