Besides the skins, I'm having trouble dealing with the nerfs and the such as they will impact my gameplay, but I'm sure I'll get used to them and come to love the 1.8 update. Also, don't forget... SLIME BLOCKS!!!
I don't know about anyone else, but I like these videos. It quickly updates me on what's happening in the world of Minecraft and Mojang. I will love the 1.8 update. The nerfs, I might be bothered about, but I don't usually make mob farms, so I should be fine on that. Although, I won't be happy for others. I do love the new skin system, but the biggest change that truly made 1.8... stackable doors.
It's nice that they're adding features like WorldEdit, but I still prefer the actual World Edit. (IMO, Minecraft's syntax isn't that great.) But if I make something in SinglePlayer I guess I could learn how to use Minecraft's vanilla world-editing commands better.
As for the skins, I thought they would have done more than jackets, pants, etc. Hopefully they will add more.
I am a master of world edit. Here is a tip a lot of people don't know. You don't have to select a cube, you can select any shape with world edit. Just do //sel poly. Once you do this you can left click to start your shape, and right click to add on to your shape. This is just a tip, I know it took me a while to learn. Cheers!
