Now it's definite that I'm getting a playstation instead of an xbox one. Really this was the only thing holding me back. I can also get a ps vita. the controls will be alot easier than the ipod touch since there are actually buttons lol. Now there is actually a good portable Minecraft game. Yay!
If only we had a Wii U version. Gimmicks I just thought of:
1. Off TV play
2. Camera control via rotating the gamepad
3. Breaking/Placing blocks by shaking Nunchuk/Wiimote
4. 1 to 1 sword fighting FTW! (JK)
5. Inventory/crafting using gamepad. Never get ambushed by zombies while crafting a diamond sword again!
6. I believe Ninty is the type of company that would endorse a FREE texture pack CUSTOMIZER (I'm looking at YOU Microsoft)
Anyways, while it may seem I'm bashing on Wii U, the gamepad is just as much of a gimmick as the Kinect, yet it costs less AND takes the dual screen power of the (sorta) highly praised DS series. Now if anyone says that it doesn't have too big of an install base, I agree and it shouldn't come out right away. We already saw leaps in sales with Pikmin 3 and Wind Waker HD, so after this holiday season's lineup, Zelda Wii U and Smash Bros Wii U the Wii U should have a large enough install base for MC.
i cant wait to see how multiplaer works on the vita

I've felt the hate rise up in me...
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves...
I wander out where you can't see...
Inside my shell I wait and bleed...
Looks good but....
I have an xbox
But still I think PSP/Vita edition will be cool because apart from IOS/Android devices.
It will be the first handheld edition. I think the next should be DS/3DS
There is no PSP edition, and a DS/3DS isn't powerful enough to handle minecraft.
There is so much hype about minecraft on consoles, why? There is Minecraft is terrible on Xbox, and i doubt the PS4 will be any different. Just build a PC, and save money in the long run by getting cheaper games, and enjoy better graphics, and a better community: simples.
Don't even start with that "this console is better than that console" stuff, alright. Minecraft looks the same on Xbox as it does on the PC. The only difference is the crafting interface and the content. And there's community support for all platforms.

WIP 128x 64x, SEUS support, Mod support in the pipeline TEKKIT, FTB, the more support the more mods!
it shouldn't cost anything to PC users who have ready bought the game, same with PE and XBox editions. There could be a way to link your accounts between PC (either console) and PE.

WASN'T XBOX ENOUGH FOR US PC/MAC PLAYERS?
