Well sorry, but that is because PS2 is a primative console (no offence) and doesn't have any internet connection. Why can't you play PC though? even if yout dont have your own computer im sure one of your parents or sibling would let you borrow theirs.
Happy to hear that you PS3/4 people will finally get what we xbox people have had now for what 2 or 3 years, your all excited to play the exact same version, with the exact same features, no extra goodies, and also no mods or the ability to cross platform play. Now you can wait with us for the long update cycle between TU updates, and enjoy 4J's lack of community involvement.
Whats really amusing here is how some of your are soooo excited to jump ship to the PS4 because they promised the world but have yet to deliver on any such promises and knowing that they are now experiencing hardware failures similar to what the 360 originally went through shortly after its launch. Even more amusing is that your want PS4 because it has free online play, but it don't, PS4 access for online play will follow a similar pricing plan that the xbox has currently.

Cool. I like the Vita! Minecraft anywhere, anytime, anyplace. Just make sure that it won't get snatched. Hope they will make PS3/4/Vita exclusives ( highly doubt it ).

Yay i never played minecraft before !!.only demo and its so much fun, sadly i only have a ps3 but didnt want to get a 360 because that wasting money and more wasting money because its not free internet wtf.. couldnt get it on computer because my laptop a suckish laptop, i dont want it to crash or lagg all the time ERH.
