Well, let's see.... In the beginning of my online gaming career, I was called "sonicninjadkr." I loved Sonic the Hedgehog, ninjas were boss, and dkr, well those are my initials. I had used it for RuneScape when I was about 10, up until about 12 years old. Then, when I got an Xbox and Xbox Live, it was changed to "Flamehog." That used to be my little brother's name on RS. We don't know why, but that's what Xbox Live chose for me, and I was unable to change it to anything else for years. Now, here's the history of my current name, one that has been evolving and changing due to my thousands of nicknames. I've always been a sort of "Romeo" to put it simply. When I had a significant other, I would wholeheartedly care for them. I was kind of the romantic type. I had always wanted to be a Romeo, but a different kind. One wiser and more intelligent than that of Shakespeare. One day, during my Freshman year of high school, I wrote a song, and sang it as a solo in front of my choir. I wrote it as a rock song, but it came out as a rap, so I just sang on. After I was finished, one of the guys jokingly said "Hey, it's the 'new Slim Shady!'" His friend replied, "No, he's a Romeo! A NEW Romeo!" And I liked it. NewRomeo. It became my name for Minecraft. Now, here's where it's been evolving. I have another nickname I received from a few Japanese people I had met at a camp. I liked the name they gave me. The last name of it, even more so. It was related to my favorite animal, and thus, I used that animal's English name for a company on a Minecraft server, and added another name to it. It was called "The Blackwood Wolves Trading Co." How is this related? You'll see. Eventually, I put together Romeo and Blackwood. Romeo Blackwood. It sounded like an actual name. So, that's what I've stuck with. It's how people know me, now. I'm "Romeo."
Interesting story actually...
No more than one or two years ago, I was looking for a new username for a website. Because, at the time, I had taken interest in code breaking and encryption algorithms, I decided to pick something which reflected that, and thus began trying to find some interesting looking username with some sort of code behind it. After many unsuccessful or unappealing attempts, I was starting to grow a bit weary of looking for usernames. Suddenly, however, an idea occurred to me, and sure enough, not only did the result look good, but it was available, and had a pretty simple yet satisfying ring to it. Eventually, when I stumbled upon this game, this name immediately came to mind, and I decided to use it.
?.$. .
Qysr actually isn't the first one that I considered. You wouldn't believe the number of usernames I've had in the past. Some of them might have been quite silly in retrospect, admittedly, but picking acronyms has always been an important matter to me, and I wanted to use something unique. Relatively speaking, however, I think this one is fairly appealing and interesting, not to mention unique and well suited to my online persona...
.
Many of the usernames I have used in the past were also quite good. Every once in a while, I'd encounter someone with something similar, but still, most of them were fairly unique. Argent, Cryptiic and Qysr however would be my best ones. Not that the others were bad, but they were a bit lacking in either simplicity or appeal. Some of them were simply downright ridiculous.
.
Considering the nature of this thread, I probably went a bit overboard with my explanation, my apologies. +.+.

Hiding secret messages in my posts? Me? Whatever would make you think that?
The story of my in-game name.. Well it is actually quite simple to explain but i shall try to add as much detail as possible.
I started online gaming when my oldest brother showed me runescape. it was a lot of fun if you had patience. I played it for years.
my name forged from this game after all. At first my name was Elonde which I used in a Pen and paper game my oldest brother made.
So then I used that in Runescape. then well as new as I was to gaming and being on the computer and such. Fresh new, I was scammed in to giving out my password. Dumb real stupid although I was at a much young age then and did not understand much.
So then I started a new name which actually made sense and was also silly. it was Nightimekid which was hacked actually so I got Nightimekid0
as I played my passwords got much more compicated. My normal password is usually 25 characters long now and not in any wordings at all but patterns on the keyboard.
as I used Nightimekid0 for a while, I had to make a new email for Aol for whatever reason (aol sucks I know) because they redid things and I had to make a new email. my brother suggested blackeyedgamer. That sounded pretty cool. I liked it. I have stuck with it ever since.
Plus it makes a lot of sense. I stay up so much my eyes get dark from gaming so much.
So that is how blackeyedgamer was born!
and it shall be the name I use for most things. others i use nightimekid or nightimekid0 such as skype. or photobucket.
thanks for reading and have happy holidays

I have no life you say?
I'm a gamer! I have lots of Lives!
My name on the forums was made in a rush, my first name short and my middle name with a 01
3 names I always use on games are
RoboticPatriot (current) I recently finished Bioshock Infinite and I was pulled into it. I made this name in honor of the great mechanical George Washington.
Mars (for most older games) My interest of space made me chose this, and it stuck nicely
Flotsam (it's floating around in some games somewhere) I read something in class that was about trash in the ocean called jetsam or flotsam. It sounded catchy.

Mine was suppose to be Sayid from Lost. At the time I made my account way back in the day I though it was spelled Syiet. Couple months ago I come to find out I miss spelled the name.
for me, it was back in highschool that me and my best friend were rolling up DnD characters and i couldn't think up a name... we had just finished taking a test that used the computerized multiple choice answer sheets, the answers were filled in on a "Scantron" form... thus Scantron The Bold was born. i usually shorten it to Scantrontb for ease of typing...
I've been using the name Exanadu since 1999 when I started my first MMO game Dark Age of Camelot. I pondered for a good name for a warlock and I basically took Xanadu and added the E which also doubles as a term for Undead so it made sense. It then became the name of my Fixer in Anarchy Online, then my Necromancer in Everquest 2, My Necromancer in Age of Conan and now my Minecraft character! 14 years of priceless memories and friends that I wouldn't trade for the world.
It was my brother's Webkinz account...mine wouldn't work. He got a dalmatian as his first Webkinz and named it dalmatianblack for some reason. When we transferred it to a Minecraft account somehow the 'a' got replaced with an 'o' and now we are "dalmationblack".

I played many different games when I was a youngster and I didn't really stick with a name. I started with Bluebowler because I liked the color blue and I liked bowling (even though I've only gone bowling twice or something). I later started using the name Scorpion, maybe because of the tank in Halo CE, but I might have used it because I had a friend with an IGN that sounded like scorpion and it sounded cool. I later went to Brave Grunt, because I played tons of Halo and the grunts in that game are hilarious cowards, so I went with an oxymoron. I turned this into BraveBlock later on when I started playing Minecraft because, well, blocks. I kept the name because it sounds fine, isn't hard to pronounce and it has alliteration.

A wise man once told me: "Just be thankful it wasn't lava."
I first came up with DoubleDongle while participating in a trolling project that involved live adult content. I decided I wanted a name that kinda sounded dirty, but really wasn't. None of the fine young women seemed all that amused, but I certainly was. After all, a dongle is just a flash drive. I do actually own and use two of them, but that's a coincidence. My old preferred choices were already taken when I got Minecraft, so I decided to use DoubleDongle again. I've kept it and used it in multiple places ever since. I like it because it fairly accurately represents my sense of humor.
Myself?
Well, I come by Derpzie. I love the 'Derp' meme, but my name needed more originality. 'Derpzy' was dumb, so I changed 'y' to 'ie' because everyone knows that's cooler. Right?
That's besides the point. The name has been shot in multiple occasions (Derpzie is a name of a brony, and I'm an antibrony)
I've currently gone by DamoDamo, Grampa' Heavy and currently it's Dr. Derpzie Fenhigglestien.

Watch this! I can make your read this text! See? MAGIC! You have to use your jetpack! WOOSH!
My name is... well... rather close to me.
Ever since i was little, i always want to be the best.ALWAYS.Each time i dont i just run feom whatever the situation is.Ever since last 2 years i played alone.Singleplayer all day, everyday.you could probably tell i didnt have a lot of friends then.moving schools 2 times doesnt help much either. So one of my "friends" kept on talking on and on ad on about playing on servers. That time i didnt know anything on multiplayer.so that time my name was only well, my real life name.So i thought about creating a username.i googled things that souned cool and what it actually meant. Until oneday i was searching for a top 10 list of pokemon.Arceus is always number 1. The more i read about it i knew it was the strongest ,the "god" pokemon.so was only Arceus for a while on servers.Until i had some troubled times.going through them was hard.i thought to myself maybe im just THAT strong to be able to go on in life.so
came up with Alpha. The first,The strongest. After playing on many servers alot of people know me.A lot. Everytime i see people i dont even know they just go HEY its alpha!Things sound right from then on.im at the peak of mt.Happiness.Now,well...I dont know what happens after this.
Well.. A few years ago I made a cracked Minecraft account, and since my surname is Stone, I had the username Stoner9999. I begged for a premium account but I was stuck with a cracked one for ages
Anyways, I finally got a premium MC account, and I wanted to play so badly that I just randomly made my username because i thought it was cool. DONT ASK. So that, my friends, is how I came to be named Diamond_miner000.
(this was in grade 4, okay?!?!)
For me, it all started out about 5 years ago at the end of 2008. I was playing the Kongregate game IncrediBots (I think it was), an amazing game where you could build robots using shapes. I registered at first using the name "bilde", which is Norwegian for "picture". I chose it because I liked drawing at the time (I was 10 years), and the name wasn't taken, so I proceeded to use it. When I wanted to register on Kongregate a few months later, the name was taken, so I added my birthday, and it worked. Now you'll find me on a whole bunch of websites using bilde2910, and I've gotten a few comments that it's maybe a bit childish, but I like it so I've kept it.
Whether or not I'm going to keep my name I'm not sure. As I'm getting into archery, and really enjoy it, I was thinking that if I'm going to change my nickname, it would be to something with "Archer" in it. But it's my guess that I'm gonna stay with bilde2910 a little longer

I AM NOT YOUR PERSONAL MINECRAFT MOD SUPPORT AGENT, SO PLEASE DO NOT PM ME ABOUT PROBLEMATIC MODS THAT ARE NOT MINE. If you're having trouble/crashes with a mod, you'll have better luck resolving it in this forum section than PMing me. If you already made a topic, be patient about responses. If you have troubles with anything non-Minecraft related on your PC, I might be able to help, though, but no promises. Even though I could wish to be, I'm not a wizard.
Mine is simple. "Otep" is my nickname. "Ralloma" (pronounced rahl-yo-muh), is my last name. The 5 came from the number of "J" on the keypad of a phone because my real name starts with J.
I combined two things that I thought were cool. Dragons and androids. However, later I found out that there was something in Bagukan called 'Dragonoid' (just google it), so in most more-recent things I use Drazile. This came from back when Pokemon would only let you use 7 characters in your name, so Dragonoid wouldn't fit. So, I added a reptilian Godzilla-inspired suffix to my name, in place of '-gonoid'. I haven't changed my forum name to Drazile yet (because it may confuse people who know me has Dragonoid), but I may sometime in the future.
EDIT: Oh, I almost forgot.
The '12' is partly because names without numbers are usually taken, and partly because it's my favourite number. THAT is partly because it's the first number that's divisible by 1, 2, 3 and 4, and partly because it's so common (12 hours on a clock, 12 months in a year etc. [which is because it's so divisible]).
I called myself ProStickman because I used to draw stickman comics or whatever until today. "Pro" is just a prefix that most people really wanted to be, so that's why my name is ProStickman, instead of calling myself Stickman. Mostly, I call myself Stick instead of Pro to prevent confusion for those people whose names start with the word "Pro", besides Stick is how I describe myself (because a stick is very thin xD).

Note: I no longer use this account. I've officially changed my username to Mau5tick.
I was in bed at night thinking of names for my character. I suddenly thought of Chaospillager and thought it was good. That's pretty much it. I do have another name I use, which comes from playing xbox. It was a suggested name, and it was cool too. It's my back-up account incase this one gets hacked. Can never be too sure...
My name comes from a book, Memnoch the Devil, by Anne Rice....
a book? what's that? A book is what we had before internet. Books have a very user-friendly interface, and you can always go back to where you left off, or even re-read things! Books recharge instantly, and can be used to prop up a wobbly table or couch when you are done with them. My favorite feature about a book, they become nifty gifts around the holidays, and in some cases, a good self-defense weapon (I have a hardcover version of War and Peace that could knock out a pro wrestler).
I have always been Ordinaryman, since 1992 when I first connected to the internet. There have been many Ordinaryman wannabe's, but they can never stand up to the scrutiny of the original.
