I know that the water thing is a bug, but what if it was made a game rule or something? In fact, what if you could use commands to change the data for things like if water finds the lowest point or not, and how many blocks water will flow before it stops. Same with lava. Can you even imagine what kind of craziness could exist if you could manually change the effects of liquids?
First of all, great update! It's a lot less offensive to me as a minecrafter than the last one, so that's good.
Anyway, love the new trading and repairing systems, though the new enchanting kind of bothers me, but I guess that's ok, since we got the new properly nerfed repair/naming prices.
New commands/adventure mode rules are amazing, especially new block breaking rules.
The slime block is tons of fun, been waiting for something simular for a long time.
Oh and stackable doors are preety convenient.
The new stone types seem kind of useless and forced, I don't know. At first I thought they were going to replace half of regular stone and since that's not the case (thank god), I think I can tolerate them. New textures for them would be nice though.
Also there are a few bugs here and there, most notably the totally uncontrolled water/lava spreading, but that's probably going to get sorted out sonn enough.
All in all, I think the upcoming update is preety promising and I'm actually going to look forward to it, which I frankly didn't expect to happen.
P.s. I know it's a bit unreasonable of me, but I still hate poppies and tulips. I don't think that I will ever be able to get over it. And yes, using texture... ughh... resourse packs IS an option, but it's just not same.
The new stone types are so ugly. And recipes for mossy and chiseled stone bricks... but not for moss stone, and still no moss stone slabs or stairs?! Otherwise, great job. Stacking doors only makes sense and the slime blocks are awesome. Also glad to see Lapis get another use. I need to play around with the new enchantment mechanics and the new villagers some more, but I'm digging it so far.
Anyone else think that these new ingeous rock types could be the start of vanilla volcanoes (or maybe just a huge change to our underground worlds). Lots of love for the slime blocks; slime golems could be fun? TY for the enchanting changes, very much appreciated.
Ughh, this snapshot is breadcrumbs. No content that feels like it took any real effort. You guys are millionares who make a low rez blocky game with jerky animations. What are you doing everyday at work there Mojang? Jezuz notching Christ.
And everyone is just ECSTATIC about stackable doors. Good god.
The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
As for the bugtracker, heres a lil' bug, if you type /give @e it SPAMS the chat(50-60 times) "/give <player> <item" you know the rest.
Also, do /tp <yourname> 29000000 5 29000000 on a flatworld, try to place redstone, can't? Well, if you do... it looks way too big.. also experiment with entitys and such.
And a redstone torch, PARTICLE PARTY!
water doesn't work until a block update, various things.
and if you do /tp 29999995 5 299999995 you cannot speak in chat anymore. Mute, eh? And it doesn't teleport you until like 5 minutes later, then you can speak
And thats what the end of minecraft looks like...DON'T Place redstone on the end of it... or just... you wouldn't wanna see.... And also, if you try to go into the thin air, you kept getting teleported there.. wut? And to the point where you can't move like even 0.00000001 of the coordinates, you get out by dying or tpaing. Also you can't chat if your in the thinness airness end. Also you can get a bucket, or something, and it like... very glitches..
