My first night, stuck in a crevice in Taigi (Snow and no treese biome) learning the controls and after that, trying to find how to make sticks. (After i fig the controls I built a dirt house but i needed sticks and then a creeper came)
I remember my first minecraft night. In June 2011, I bought minecraft for the Xbox. I didn't know I had to hold the button to break blocks, and by the time I did, an entire army of mobs killed me. When I respawned, I built a dirt and sand house(I didn't know how to craft, so I assumed stone was unminable and wood was too slow to hand chop) and looked up how to mine stone on minecraft. Therefore, I was informed of the crafting system, and began to hoard stone tools in a chest until I learned how to use a furnace. I then learned how to make charcoal, glass, etc and was on my way to removing my noob status.
If it's night specifically, mine was... "interesting". I had been playing nothing but creative mode because i liked building and i never let it become night. The first time I ever played survival scared the $#!% out of me when i realized I had been playing for three months and didn't know how to make a crafting table...
That burned about half of the day, when I got everything ready I went and mined, not paying any attention to the obvious fact that it was almost sunset (and I didn't have torches). About thirty feet into a cave I ran straight into a room full of zombies and ran like hell out into, (this surprised me) pitch black night.
Unfortunately, my strategy of simply running away had led me to meet a not-too-friendly Enderman and left me staring him straight in the eyes for about a half second. When I realized what I was looking at, I turned around to run but it was too late and I turned to find him directly in front of me beating me and screaming the scariest f#@%ing noise I had ever heard. The rest of the night was mostly me trying to get away and finding him three more times. I got lucky when it started to rain a few minutes before sunrise.
I think that was the closest I've ever come to $#!%ing my pants with Hatsune Miku in the background.
My first night was spent in a seemingly endless jungle, so it got dark fast and soon a spider pushed me into a hole and I was maimed by zombies. When I respawned I saw a creeper and ran for my life, but I wasn't familiar with the controls so I ended up running into a tree and the creeper got me.
