Okay, yeah I wish bukkit and the mods(should be a band, lol)would get back into action...
So,how do you think I could fix that problem,or do you not have an answer.
Wish I had an answer but I do not. From what I have read, the bukkit is ready and willing to crank one out but they feel that they can't step in and fix the issues holding them back.
Not really anyone here to blame, it's forward progress and we have to wait. The internet is not good at that.
You guys are more depressing than CNN. It's been thousands and thousands of . . . minutes . . . since 1.7 was released. Based on history, I would venture a guess that Mojang is working on those bugs you're all whining about constantly. Seriously, go do some pushups or something.
.....based on history, I'm going to venture a guess that alot of the major bugs are going to get ignored. While things like "flower duplication, OH NOES!!!!!!" get fixed instead. Because clearly, the universe will violently implode if people keep duplicating flowers. This, though, is if they dont get distracted by adding more shiny things (which are inevitably buggy) to the game. It's the way they've been doing things for quite awhile now.
That's part of the problem here and it's why people get so irked about the lack of bugfixes.
Seriously minecraft is ok and all but it is the mods that really make a difference. The mod api should have been priority number one a few releases back. Some of the mods are just barely getting to 1.6.4 and quite a few refuse to move past 1.5.2.
find something else to do if you're going to complain about bug fixes. it's really pathetic to see what this community has degraded to.
The way I see it, if you paid money for a game, and part of that payment includes access to updates, it's nice to know that if the updates are buggy, the bugs will be addressed before any new broken content gets added.
Honestly, if this were a subscription-based game, Mojang would probably be in trouble, because this is the sort of thing people cancel subscriptions over.
This will surely detract attention from the decent Twitch streamer's feeds by flooding the channels with random people playing. I hope, and strongly urge, anybody that wants to stream MC, do it right! Don't "just play". Talk to the audience. Make it an adventure. Nobody needs to watch thousands of streams of people:
Hopefully, I am surprised and everybody thinks twice before streaming their gaming!
EDIT: On a different, but similar note, add mod support on the next update!! The code is already there, you just need to add a simple means to add the packs (similar to MultiMC). In fact, you should just buy MultiMC and make it the official launcher!
"Who am I? One name you might have for me is The World, or you might call me The Universe, or perhaps God, or prehaps the Truth. I am all and I am one, so of course this also means that I am you."
No bugfixes? To be completely honest, I'd rather Mojang worked on the bugs of 1.7 than work on adding new features.
I 2nd that!As cool as this update is, it doesn't solve my game killing issueException while updating neighbors java.lang.StackOverflowError: Exception while updating neighbors.(didn't mean to quote twice)

People who want a game that's actually in a playable state, you mean? Frankly I could give a royal rat what features are in the game if it doesn't work to begin with. It's been a long time since Mojang declared the full release version of Minecraft, and I for one have, frankly, not seen any evidence to support their claim that the game is actually in that state.
This week's Snapshot brings an exciting new feature: the ability to live-stream your game on Twitch.tv with one click! How does it work?
Before you can start streaming, you will need to visit your Mojang account settings and link a Twitch account to your Mojang account. Then, while in the game, you may check the quality settings in Options -> Broadcast Options, or just go ahead and start broadcasting at any time by hitting F6. This key can be configured in the Controls options.
Currently, the livestreaming feature is only supported on Windows (XP and higher) and Mac OS X Lion (10.7) and higher. If you cannot start broadcasting in-game, go to the options screen and it should say why it isn't working.
To get snapshots, open your launcher and press the “New Profile” button. Call it “snapshots” and check the box saying “Enable experimental development snapshots” and save. To switch to the normal version, you can select it in the dropdown at the bottom left corner of the launcher.
This is a really awesome feature, and I will be demonstrating it on my Twitch page throughout the day*! Feel free to drop by, see how it works, and ask questions.
I can't use it, either, but I haven't found any bugs in 1.7.2 yet. I'm just sad that I have to keep using 1.6.4 until forge and all my favorite mods get updated.
By the way, first post for me! Woop woop!
Bukkit hasn't updated because they are busy in real life and because Minecraft code has changed so they have to do a rewrite of Bukkit and CraftBukkit.
Although I will have to agree with the majority. This seems like an unnecessary, bloated feature that most people will not even bother to use while there is a staggering number of bugs (over 2000), some being from beta, still in the game.

Those new line of snapshots will be ready for release in Minecraft 1.8 - so stay tuned.

It's very..... irritating.

Come on, man. It's not that bad. If it is playable on my super-crappy laptop (At 15 fps, but playable at least) you can't say such a thing.

I can't think of anything for my signature.
Forge hasn't been updated to 1.7.2 yet because they knew that 1.7.3 was coming a few weeks after and wanted to take the time to implement changes.
