This stuff should be in a mod-thing or a separate .jar from Mojang. Even though it's April Fools, everything in this 'update' seems fun, just not in the official game. (Although I don't really care what's added, since everything seems fun, but some people might not want this stuff)

It makes no sense that they make this "new" version when they updates they give us aren't even completed. In fact 1.6 was confirmed when Jeb stated there were going to be new mobs. Besides if I can recall, mojang is very strict in limiting the amount of information they can give out regarding updates, take a look at jeb and dinnerbone's tweets, they never say nothing about the update BEFORE they start working on it. Why the sudden change now? Well of course the administrators/moderators aren't going to come out and say "yea it's a joke" they are part of this whole plot, they have to make it convincing. .__.

My source? Well for starters take a look at the off-topic forums. A LOT of members don't even play minecraft and are here just to discuss/debate, take that away and what reason do they have to stay now? Feel free to check it out yourself in the off-topic, just because we are here in a Minecraft forum does not automatically mean we are here solely for minecraft.

I honestly think the update is real, it might have one or two things that are april fools in it, but looking at the videos, it's real.Now maybe they want you to believe it's a joke so we can get surprised to find out it isn't
