Is the same guy who did the same thing with Half Life 2? I remember that to be one of my favorite mods.
He was inspired by me. The Russian-speaking guy's video and Natepack were made after they saw my Half-Life 1 mod where I replaced all the sounds and voices.
I used to feel sorry for villagers when my friends slaughtered/burned/ambushed them. But now... that's so amazing!
I note, though, that I'm probably not going to use this pack. The sounds for mobs, bows, dispensers, and just about everything else? Those are AWESOME, I love them, they're funny in some parts and just generally good in others. However, I don't like the footstep sounds. They're too loud, and there were places where I couldn't hear the sounds you were supposed to because of the footsteps. Other than that, though, great pack!
The reason the sounds are a bit muddled in the video is because of volume compression in order to make the quiet sounds more audible. In the actual game it's not so bad. I may reduce the sounds of footsteps even further though, but there's a lot more dynamic range if you actually play the game with the resource pack.

They're new. I would've used the sound of real rain, but it wouldn't have really fit the theme.
