These "Saturdays with Zach" posts seem random, poorly written, and unfocused. I see that there's a generally positive reaction to them, so it's probably worth spending some time learning to be more concise and organized in your writing.
I think it's absolutely fine the way it is.

I usually have a neutral/undecided standpoint on things. And yes, I am part Swiss.
@dragonzrmetal, I experienced the same feeling, so no, you ain't alone!
Q: What is the scariest thing that's happened to you?
A: Getting stuck in the middle of Shanghai, China at 1:30 am because the subway systems had stopped for the night. BTW, I live in Germany at this time.
Q: What will you be doing for/during/because of MineCon?
A: Probably absentmindedly doing my school work, wishing that
1. It was the weekend.
2. I could be playing Minecraft.
3. I was old enough to earn enough money to go to MineCon.
Oh, and regarding the fears, I usually just follow Pinkie's advice:
Though for some reason my fears don't ever disappear when I start laughing and people just give me strange looks as the big mean people haul me off to the "mental hospital", whatever that's supposed to mean. I don't know what I'm doing wrong...
The fact about getting hit by a "meteor" is completely false. You have a WAAAY higher chance of being in a plane crash than getting struck by a "meteor". Also, let me correct your vocabulary. A meteor is an asteroid that burns up in Earth's atmosphere. What you mean to say, is a meteorite.

I keep forgetting that light humor doesn't tickle everyone.
I know what I meant to say, and I know the difference between a meteor, and a meteorite. I also know that 100% dry, factual writing is boring, and that being casual/light-hearted every once in awhile is a nice way to chat with people, without feeling stuffy/dull.
I wish I had a bit more to say for the fear topic, but I've never really overcome any big fears of mine. The closest thing I can think of is that I'm making a few strides in overcoming my social anxiety, but I can't really call that a trumped fear, seeing as I haven't accomplished it yet...

I know, I'm sort of a loser. :L

Mini Nova.
There's quotes for a reason, ya' know...

I'd have to agree with HazyHills, there were a LOT of plane accidents this summer...
Anyways, my biggest fear is giant real life spiders (like tarantulas) and endermen coming at you out of nowhere.
You just used quotes

And I can't go to Minecon because tickets are sold out.
I don't do drugs, I do redstone. They're basically the same.
I call that Tuesday.
