Horses have changed the single and multi-player experience forever by adding a new mode of transportation. Do you really want to keep riding saddled pigs for the rest of your life? Horses are much better. Stop hating on Jeb and Dinnerbone

As for the sunflower, F3 shows your direction anyway, so whats the point? Surly its only purpose won't be to show direction, so Dinnerbone must have a surprise in store. Did anyone notice that it is planted at the intersection of 4 blocks? Strange...
can't wait to see what other awesome features are added to the game. i'm all for adding small features that make me feel more immersed in the world of minecraft.

Minecraft is always "Turning into another game" They are always changing things and adding new things. I thought most people knew that was a given? You have confused me my friend.
The reason that I hate horses is that they're too OP, they take away from the feel of the game(building)because they have you just be like, "Oh I have my trusty horse now, no need to build any minecart tracks or even bases!". They really take away from what the feel of the game was SUPPOSED to be. Seriously.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and the reason that I hate 1,7 is that new biomes + no more biome diversity(I.E. You can't have a desert next to a taiga anymore) = BORING ARTIFICIAL-LOOKING WORLDS AND IT FEELS LIKE MODS ARE INSTALLED WHEN THEY'RE NOT!!! I barely even care about sunflowers in all honesty, I can just use a resource pack to get rid of THEM.

Seriously, more biomes add to the diversity. You want never-ending oceans? Stay in 1.6 or 1.5.

I heard Notch said in Mojang.com that there will be Dragons, bears, and fish in update 1.7. I can't wait for it to come out. Ina Mojang it says more about the new up coming update. I wuz wondering when the update is coming out. I hope there are also Golden Golums and people. This one is 4 Notch and Jeb to tell them to add people like in Alpha 1.7 and have them get about 15 random skins when you spawn them. Theyer spawn eggs can have a Steve face on them and they can also chat with you and have a custom name. Their basic names should be the name of the skin. PLEASE ASS PEOPLE NOTCH!!! I WOULD LOVE TO PLAY MINECRAFT WITH PEOPLE.
As always, I'm excited for this update, some new players do not know f3, or use a mac and can't work/don't know the f3 for mac. This can help them a bit more.
I'm guessing it can be in a pot (obv) but does it drop anything? Like sunflower pieces or like the flower/rose, just the object itself?
