Not to be mean or anything but dosent this seem like kindof a half-assed atemt at an update idea, its not like minecraft is literely complete and nothing could be added to make it more entertaining i mean look at all the mods or just sugestions on the sugestions forum, i just dont get why mojang would add something so... silly and useless

I can't wait for 1.7. My favourite thing of the update are the biomes, I really want to get a snapshot soon. I also like the other things too, but I don't like the sunflower texture, looks unfinished, maybe they can improve it before the release.
i really think the waves that are coming for the water will be awesome. Looking foward to this update. The only thing i disapprove is the possibilty nof having a TAMABLE red dragon. takes the fun out of exploreing on your own.
Games get more and more exciting only when great features and cool points are added to it. The sneak peak certainly raises the expectations of all its fans and followers. The direction change in the game would surely generate ample interest, but what has me hooked to it are the other features which have not yet been disclosed.
No more getting lost! Does anyone else think the maps in PC suck compared to the ones in XBOX?
Yes i do. the maps in Xbox version show the whole world, whereas the pc version shows a little part of it. plus, somethimes your arrow thingy isnt on the map, its somewhere far away.
Dinnerbone has ruined this game, can I get a refund?
EDIT: And Jeb, but Dinnerbone was the one who had the horrible idea to add horses, right?
If you don't like it, don't use it? I've never been forced to use a horse or anything. Heck, they could stop updating the game forever and you would still complain.
he's probably unaware that before the whole survival mode , there was something called creative mode and it was totally another game, but guess what, you can still play it.
That is true... but it would be nice if it was changed. just saying.
Actually, it WAS. (1.4 & its snapshots)
The original map was fixed size and based on where you crafted.
They changed it so it's scalable (which can be far better than fixed size if you want to see a detailed area) and based on where you open it.
Also, X-box is 864 X 864 (which is between zoom 2 and zoom 3 on PC).
Thus: PC can have far more zoomed out maps (going as high as zoom 4).
