bethesda makes good games but for gods sake scrolls isnt their word it was a form used before books you retards at bethesda, and if you do sue for the rights and if mojang wins the prosedure you wont be making any more elder scrolls games look at the consequences retards
Im laughing pretty hard at everybody raging. Ok so bathesda's lawyers are sueing mojang for the use of the word scrolls. Thats a bit stupid and childish, yes. Mojang opening it up to the public is also a bit stupid and childish. Humans obviously make mistakes sometimes and do stupid things. But that doesnt mean we have to bash on them for days upon days just because of it. Everybody needs to grow up and be reasonable. Mojang, Bethesda, community, this is rediculous.. Settle down.
There is no such thing as bad publicity. I'm still not convinced these "issues" aren't planned. Start up some controversy, make some news, package and sell (more). Not sure what Bethesda wants out of the deal... maybe try to rally the Morrowind fans after the disappointment in Oblivion's cut-off testicles? And the even more limited Fallout series? I know Notch will only benefit by having Mojang's Jo-jangs seen alongside Bethesda's in gaming news... Bethesda is not stupid. They know there is no confusion with the legacy of their games. Not sure as to their end of the benefits (which there will be), but rest assured it never hurts to have your name in the spotlight. Just ask Jennifer Aniston.

It is his PERSONAL blog. It is about things that happen in his life. He isn't going to censor everything he thinks just because he is famous. He didn't say "everyone let's boycott Bethesda because they're a bad company!" In fact, he even said he liked the company and it was "probably just lawyers being lawyers". If he wanted to attack Bethedsa, he wouldn't have said that he liked the company in his blog post.
And as beer tweaks my memory... both Mojang and Bethesda are facing the release of Old Republic around the same date. After Galaxies, they need to get it right and make a statement in the already dying world of MMO's.:) Damn straight, "Lets get in the news." I know I'm gonna be torn in three directions. Will Mojang and Bethesda survive the two month period for everyone on earth to be able to afford all three games? Will George Lucas go belly-up? Will we ever see Episodes VII-IX? Tune in folks! And watch as the millionaires and billionaires survive! And Episodes VII-IX be made after I'm dead! (Hopefully Lucas will have nothing to do with them)

I always have hated the Trademark system. Mainly because companies overstep there bounds with some kind of BS like this. No company should be able to own a single word that they didn't create period unless its named and marketed with the exact same name. I wonder if any company that includes Softworks in their name could sue another company with Softworks in there name. I mean Illusion Softworks, Bethesda Softworks, Infinity Softworks, Aurora Softworks, Briggs Softworks, etc etc ****ing etc.
Why do people keep refering to Bethesda as "She" Bethesda (in this case) is a division of a larger company called ZeniMax not a person. Bethesda is a it not female wtf.
