Not that anyone from Bethesda Going to see this but quote if you like
See this is an Example of Copyright that does not Exist Bethesda Software , As You Sir, Do not Understand that the copyright only fully applies to your games full title not the words in it, Infact if someone want to make a company with the word Bethesda in it, they could feel free to do so as long as it is a completely different type of company ( Meat Distrubution for example )
In other words, Take your Petty Law Suit off the Table or Expect it to be quickly dropped in court as soon as it realized that the sole reason for it is because of them using a word that just happens to be in the title of many of your games, You do not Own that Word, You did not Invent it, and It Belongs in the Public Domain

Don't you people get it, they aren't suing Mojang over a simple word, the fact behind that no company in their right minds would sue another over one word they have no claims over. Its not a win win. The truth behind it they are trying to scare notch/mojang, and further more I read someone saying that this info shouldnt have been released to the public but the public has a right to know whats going on in the "game/company" they invest into either by being a consumer or donating money to that company.
Aside from that Beth is more then likely suing to scare Mojang along with Notch as a means to show their "egos." Its like playing a game of chess each pond has a means to doing undoubted damage to the other player's strategists. The way they are acting this is a form of scare tatic. (and syfy can sue me for using that phrase I'll throw them a penny in the bucket.)
They have no claims over the word scrolls alone, as each game has nothing or no similar views of the other. Even trademark laws wouldnt hold up in court for this reason. Simple truth is even trademark/copyright are two different things as such however say someone is to trademark a word commonly used among by all, or let alone copyright it, the fact they wont be able to sue that person for suing over a "common" word is proof enough. Scrolls in one hand is a common word used among "mythical" games/shows/movies.
Such as a game or a branch off the game such as a plugin or modification of the game using the word "Scrolls" in the title to describe the nature of the game. For example say your playing MC that requires a plugin/mod that uses "Scroll" in the title to describe the sheets of paper gain in the game to allow you to do a wide verity of things.
There are many games that use "Scrolls" in the title and the fact that Bethesda isn't suing them is a clear reason why, unlike them MC has gained over 3mil mark of consumers. Therefore Bethesda is feeling the pressure of their lame games along with the famous pressure of MC alone.
Also to point it out that they could also be doing this to become infamous with the players of the world in hopes to show they aren't afraid to act like a bunch of children to get what they want which in some cases will generate a high percent in consumers for them, as they would be seen as being "bold/stand alone/lone wolf" view from their new consumers. As well the down sides of losing loyal consumers already to them. Either way its a lose lose.

If Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter were all destroyed, 90% of teens would go insane. If you're one of the 10% that would be laughing at them, copy this into your signature and hope it happens.
bethwhatever has no legal grounds for this. this is like the woman who tried to claim the sun, and tried to charge people to use it, or like trying to patent the word "scrolls"... this is BS, and notch should tell them to F*ck off.
All of you who are being ****ing idiots about it can shut the **** up. NO, YOU DUMB HIPPIES, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE INDUSTRIAL MACHINE. AND YES, THEIR TRADEMARK IS A REAL THING. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE LEGAL SYSTEM, AND YOU SHOULD NOT BOYCOTT BETHESDA BECAUSE OF THE ACTIONS OF ONE DEPARTMENT. BETHESDA IS ACTING LIKE A BUSINESS, AND NOTCH IS NOT BING A LITTLE ***** ABOUT, AND YOU HAVE NO REASON TO.

Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!-Cave Johnson
1:I think their are at least 50+ games out there with the word scrolls.
2:Bethesda are beast game makers but its stupid for them to think no one else can use scrolls in their title when there are many other games with the title that has scrolls.
3:And If those other games haven't gotten a lawsuit for it then why would they sue Notch?
4:Bethesda this is just stupid you may even lose the court battle.
5:Why don't you just sue all the other indie games to?
I actually agree I like Bethesda and there games.I actually enjoy them more then minecraft,Its not about the game making that matters its the lawsuit? I just think that Bethesda's lawyers are being greedy and this is a stupid lawsuit. There have been at least 30+ games with the word scrolls since Bethesda's elder scrolls. And they didn't get sued over it? and another thing they sued right after minecraft sold 3 million copies? It just shows they are greedy and think that since their awesome game makers and big in the game industry they can take over any little indie game for money whenever they find a chance.Especially when the game they are suing has sold 3 million copies.
You did that exact same thing. Oh, here it is:
So gtfo.
How idiotic can huge companies get?!
Bethedesa, I give you a creeper. a supercharged one.
