what is this wold coming to people are getting sued for using the word scrolls in a video game, so I guess that guy tryed to sue the creators for Fate Runescape and other games to?

I don't know how to feel about this. I love Bethesda's games and Minecraft too.

That's the last time I buy a Bethesda game. Fallout was amazing, but from hence forth I won't buy anymore DLC for it.

It's like MGM, who made James Bond: Casino Royale, the video game, sues a company who makes a Casino game for the computer, or Star Wars suing Star Trek because of the word Star.

If zenimax goes through with this, i will most definitely boycott all future titles from them. It's just ridiculous.

1. Fallout: New vegas. Obsidian made it! Bethesda published.

2. This. Zenimax (bethesda's parent company) is suing! Not bethesda!

To the people trying to remind everyone that is it Beth's lawyers and not them who are creating a lawsuit. Are forgetting that Betheseda could just simply put the lawyers back in to their lawyer gimp cage.
That and unless something's changed lawyers normally consult 1st before potentially doing something that could damage their rep.
I'm now waiting for some obscure oldschool Amiga game dev to sue Beth for the use of the name elder.

Counter-sue for the problems that they're causing. Take it to court, and you'll win the case for sure, mainly because they're suing over the word "Scrolls".
