Its a word, and its not owned by anyone. Yeah, "Elder Scrolls" is a copyrighted title, but "Scrolls" is a title of its own. Do you see the word Elder infront of his version? No, so therefore, this is just another lame attempt of Bethesda trying to get more money to produce its latest game, Skyrim. Guess what game in not pre-ordering!
A lot of you are raging at Bethesda for suing Mojang for the word scrolls. I personally agree it should not be called "Scrolls". Not because I am for one a huge Elder Scrolls fans, but when that word is used, Elder scrolls is the first thing that comes to my mind, which is the big point here. Seeing as how the game IS NOT in its final stages, a name change is simple. No need to lose big money over a name that hasn't even caught on yet.
Wow. I was kind of looking forward to playing Skyrim, but this is detestable, and it may effect my decision when the time comes for a purchase. It's bad enough that they're going to charge $60 for it.
I sincerely hope that Notch continues with his plans and fights the lawsuit. He certainly has the money to do so.
