And nobody is listening. Stop being Notch's personal defense force, and get your head out of your ass. It is not Bethesda, it is there ****ing LAWYERS.
I think it's more that most people never read past the first page.
And even if it's their lawyers doing the work, I can't help but feel like these are things that they should bring up with the company before they lay it on the table. Oh well.
They're sueing for use of the word "Scrolls"? They don't own the word scrolls, for God's sake. As much as I love the Elder Scrolls games, this really seems to be going a bit far...
I LOVE Bethesda's work so far, but this is really stupid, its like Family Guy suing Family Feud since they're concerned that having the word "Family" will affect their ratings. This is really low of Bethesda.
Bethesda's (Or because daniloelnino said so, Zenimax's) lawyers are mentally challenged. I bet it happened like this : 1 : Durr, what u want to do todey? 2 : errhmm.. lets go search the google thingy for things with words that have words the same as the companies that pay us! 1 : good idea! we gunna get so much moneys! 2 : Hurp durp -types in some random crap- 1 : NO!! that not how u spell scroolz! 2 : how do u then? 1 : S-C-R-O-O-L-Z 2 : -types that into google- *google responds as "Did you mean SCROLLS?" 1 : click the corrector thing 2 : uh i knew that 1 : hey look! a random game gunna be called scrolls! 2 : quick! tell the smart people to make a long thing about this! -Later that day- Notch : What's this? A 15 page long letter telling me I'm not allowed to use "Scrolls"!? -posts about it on twitter and blog-
wtf this is ******** you can trademark the series of a game but the title of one word in your game thats ******** i think the judge would says its ******** and dismiss first to seconds of court its just so fking stupid
@ Tycholarfero
Even so, Bethesda chose to hire these lawyers, so isn't it their job to keep them on their leashes ? They will probably not let this farce continue though, hopefully. But if they do,then I personally will boycott them and their games, and encourage other minecraft fans to do the same.
I'm not even interested in "Scrolls," or w/e it is called.

Lol.
Give a man a fish, and he'll be fed for a day.
Oh shoot, I got a 15 page letter by Bethesda saying they are suing me for saying that word in a post. We are all screwed. :sad.gif:
