I walk over to my elders today and they were talking about all the scrolls that had in the book shelf fall of the elder’s scrolls. So I took one of the elder’s scrolls that happened to be his favourite scroll and cast the scroll out the windows and into oblivion. I then found a scroll that had writing in big bold letters saying ski rims adventures to find the elder’s scrolls. As I read through the elder’s scroll “ski rims adventures” I couldn’t help but notices the people in black suits brake down my door as I was writing this and attempt to sue me for over use of the word elder’s scrolls and ski rims adventures in this little book that I haven’t even published yet. Wait i just go a good name for this story... the elder’s scrolls and the adventures of ski rims
bethesda instead of paying million's of dollars suing mojang why don't you just give him half of what it would take to sue him to change the name.
Now, I've seen an incredible amount of stupid posts in this thread. So, perhaps I should address all of them.
First off, the people who say "MINECRAFT IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN SKYRIM THEY ARE JEALOUS". Odds are, Skyrim will get over 3 million sales in a few days, if not less. It'll crush minecraft in sales, plus they sell it for 4-5x as much. I doubt Bethesda gives a **** to what Notch is doing.
Next, the people who say "HAH LET'S BOYCOTT THEM THEY GONNA LOSE MONEY". Let's assume everyone in this "thread" did so. Gee, that's around 800 people. And Bethesda still keeps selling millions of copies. Do you think Bethesda would care if 800 people left, and still had 20 million more to replace them?
Also, the people spamming "SCROLLS". They won't sue you, you're just a moron.
Finally, the "defenders of Notch". Minecraft may have sold 3 million copies, but do 3 million people play it all the time? No. Not even close. Furthermore, most of the people complaining in this thread are around 12 years old, and just ranting to defend Notch. A majority of people who play Minecraft aren't going to care about this, and go buy Skyrim.
Notch deserves this. I salute Bethesda for doing so.

Wow. I love The Elder Scrolls game but suing for having the name "scrolls" I just think that's dumb. I have seen tons of games with "scrolls" in the name. But I will still like The Elder Scrolls games.
