I swear to god I saw a reality show about New Jersey where someone was getting sued for the exact same thing. Good Job, Bethesda, you are officially the same as New Jersey.
when people refer to "the elder scrolls", they either refer to the specific game or the series as a whole, not by "scrolls". which would get you called a weirdo faster: A) have you played scrolls 5 yet? or Have you played the fifth elder scrolls yet? im gonna say a. Bethesda your point is invalid. get over yourself and give the indie devs a chance.
really suing for the word scrolls? bethseda needs money... or allot of hate =( thisis ridiculous if they are suing mojang for using the word scrolls is BULLSH*T you cant own a word especially one used since english was formed this crazy obviously they want 1 of the most favorite games in NA to grab the hate list against bethseda in truth this is more than likely some marketing ploy to either slow down mojangs rapid growth or a money grab either way its dumb lets hope mojang gets some killer lawyers
Sitting by and allowing it to happen is supporting the action. Maybe lawyers initiated it, but if the company sits by and says its fine, then its them to.
This has made me seriously reconsider buying Bethesda's upcoming release: Skyrim. If the word was ORIGINATED by the company, (a.k.a. "Jedi" by LucasFilm LTD) that would be different, however, scrolls is and always has been a commonly used word in society. This is a shameful attack on Bethesda's end.

War is where the young and stupid are tricked by the old and bitter into killing each other. The good people die, and so do the bad ones, but the weak people, like me, we have inherited the earth.
I think the lawyers came from under a bridge, which is maybe why they troll.
Also, a unregistered user asked me to put this in my post for them.
I don't know anything of legal work, but sueing another company for use of a single word is beyond insane. It isn't illegal to use a word, nor should a company have exclusive rights to use a word. To me, this is utter crap. (Said by another "user")
this is a bloody outrage! to think that any production could even think that they can copyright a single word that is the most commonly used in any rpg is laughable
