The funny thing is, Scrolls is like a trading card game. The elder scrolls series are all open-world rpgs. You would have to either be an imbecile or literally mentally handicapped to confuse the two.
Bethesda is sueing mojang for the word scrolls? thats stupid. it would be like warhammer sueing warcraft for haveing the word war in it or lucas films sueing starcraft for haveing the word star in it.
bethesda if u guys own the word if u do then sue the entire wold cause everyone has sayed scrolls or wrote them before so sue every1 (except babies) D:
I don't get this why do they get sued for putting a word from a game title into a update?
I actually wanted Skyrim (Do not sue me!)but if they sue mojang for putting a word into something thats not even in a game! And if i say The Mighty fortress is a song will Valve sue me for putting Fortress down? No!
SCROLLS!!!
Oops hope I don't get sued! Oh wait you can't sue a middle schooler.
Those guys have thick skulls and are block heads. So basically they are .
It's a down market and they're grabbing at straws to squeeze as much money out of everything they can; this lawsuit is unreasonable. The games share no definable similarities beside the name and you can't copyright a word that already exists; the only thing they can and have copyrighted is the name of their game "Elder Scrolls." I'm expecting this to be handled with a name-change by Mojang or a court-ruled dose "suck it up" to Bethesda.
Bethesda has every right to sue. Anyone saying otherwise should do a little more research.
The real argument is about whether or not they should have sued. I actually hope the game isn't called Scrolls anyway, because it sounds pretty lame to me.
im a wolf tamer

Lawyers who represent Bethesda. Not much of a difference, if any.
The thing is, Bethesda probably has an army of lawyers. Mojang has what, one? You can probably see where a war between the two would go.
Anyway, however it goes, a Bethesda boycott wouldn't be a bad idea, at least until the conflict is solved.
