Am the only one with this problem? On Mac OSX every now and then all the semi-transparent blocks (stained glass, water, ice, etc.) will become clear or invisible. Is anyone else effected by this and has anyone found a fix yet?
Got to admit, these additions are amazing, but in all seriousness When is 1.7 going to be the terrain update again, The terrain is better but still need improvement, none the less, good job, good job indeed.
Don't forget about the new launcher that enables people to play older versions of Minecraft and the latest snapshots.
People seem to think that notch single handedly made every update for the game . He didn't he had a team of people to help him including Jeb to help.
I agree with you, but to be honest some of those addition wasn't implemented in the most player-friendly way
Jungles, LAN, and Resouce Packs, still get mixed opinions from the community, Though the only complaints i agree with is the complaints with LAN.
EDIT- to be honest i do complain about the 20% frame rate drop from jungles, but thankfully jungles are more rear now in the snapshot, besides once you find a jungle, it's pretty much an instant win with food, wood, shelter, and supplies, so it's actually kinda balanced that jungles are rearer.
For all of you wanting somthing like colored light through colored glass: It probably wont be possible without a shader and even then i wouldnt get your hopes up for anything from mojang
(In regard to a mod that gives realistic animal genetics):
Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?
Now here's the really funny thing: mojang didn't post the change log themselves. Sach compiled it himself.
Hell, it's about time.

Normally I would put an advertisement for a game that doesn't exist or a stupid sign telling you you've got a virus.
Not today.
If you are a citizen of the United States, or anyone who is involved in any way with the United States, I urge you to watch this video. Your government has a serious problem.
You need â…›-Blocks and three light levels. Maybe shaders, too.
Let's have a torch, an infinite pane of red glass next to it and an infinite floor.
We use the #<r><g>-notation, where <r>, <g> and are the red, green and blue hexadecimal values between 0 and f hexadecimal.
Torch has light level #fff, left side of the pane has #eee, right side of the pane has #e00, next block has #d00 ...
As proved by misa's realistic with MCpatcher, it is possible to have multiple colors of light.

Define Cute (choose 1): A) Creepers Aerbunnies C) Herobrine. If you chose A): You appeal to destruction and to stereotypes. If you chose B): You are a perfectly normal person, and enjoy the Aether Mod. If you chose C): Please leave the planet now before you set off a nuclear warhead--no one enjoys mass murders, however nice they might seem to you.
Render distance now goes up to 8 chunks instead of 16
only lame part of the change log. If players are two blocks high and the average male height is 6' then that means that Steve can only see 384 feet...I think he needs glasses.

You are not alone. Im on PC and get it as well. The colors seem to come back if a block update happens near them, but then they dissappear a second later. The solid colors stay, only the transparent colors disappear.

Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.
Multiplayer is lonely once you understand how it actually works.

Players are actually 1.7 blocks high. Each block is 1 meter. So Steve is approximately 5' 6" tall. Each chunk is 16 blocks across, giving Steve a view distance of 128 blocks, or about 420 feet. Of course, glasses won't help him see a world that doesn't even appear...
So you say it's a snapshot? I like the stained glass and the glass render thing is cool, but you gotta hate the 5,000 bugs snapshots have. Plus the lag and unstableness. And is it a 1.7.1 snapshot?

I think so too. They will probably add even more things that people have ALWAYS wanted. And with stained Glass here...why not coloured lights...

Curse PremiumDon't be silly.
You paid for a game with one set of features.
They make improvements and update the features, and don't charge you extra for those updates.
They are continuing to program and add to the game, and not charging you for the extra programming time and effort that they put in after release.
Buy it once, get continual updates for a very long time.
Apparently, alpha and beta purchasers get free updates forever; the rest of us can be cut off if Mojang so chooses.

Not this again... Why would it seem "un-minecrafty"? And what would be "minecrafty" to add?
