animals still escaping
mobs still falling through blocks
Black regions still there
Chunk render errors still there
Shadows still flashing
I have never seen any of the "bugs" they always report as "fixed"... but if their track record is any indication, I'd say they are inventing bugs to "fix" in order to appear to be doing something.
Coooool.... I love the new updates Minecraft always puts up. But the secret changelogs are quite annoying. The red sand is a very interesting block though. Along with the MAJOR updates that finally came. Mojang is finally concentrating on major updates rather than bug updates. This isn't always the best way to update the game though. I remember the memory leak that came in 1.6. The sad thing was that Optifine didn't come out for 1.6. Minecraft was essentially unplayable for me that time. Let's hope that a memory leak doesn't happen this time . Long live Minecraft!
You do know Red Sand is just re textured Sand. And yeah it is cool they aren't doing BUG FIXES anymore, and are actually on to the good stuff.
Also, nice profile pic.

Ok the dragon egg.... this is my theory. I know this theory has a 1% chance of being correct, but this is it...
You can now find dragon eggs in the mesa, very rarely. Since you can now posses more than one, you can probably raise dragons too. Maybe the chance of the Red Dragon finally being in game?

Either that or they are just messing with us.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the Log4j change. I think this is the biggest new addition and could be a vanilla game changer. With database logging we can now log a lot more, including block changes, chest content updates, etc. Imagine a logging config that gives us full control over what is logged. With this we can make a command line tool to know who griefed. Once some sort of API is in place we can generate a series of setblock commands to rollback a grief. This could be huge. I really hope this is where Dinnerbone is going.
I don't think they would make red glass from the new red sand. Red sand was added most likely to resemble the real red sands that you would find in Wyoming or red sand beaches. I don't mean they wanted to add realism but it's just another form of a biome. I'm sure they wouldn't just give us one colored glass option, that would ridiculous. I do want colored glass though, but I think they should use regular sand and use the dye idea.
I have to say I still disapprove of the clay biome. It's unrealistic AND it'll destroy the clay economy...
Yes, because all the other biomes, including the mushroom biome are soooooo realistic and this mesa biome is so unrealistic, and as we all know, unrealistic things in Minecraft = bad.
Working as intended. Whatever texture pack you are using messed up with the texture for packed ice. Unlike ice, packed ice is a non-transparent block and should NOT have a transparent texture placed on it.
That would make sense then I didn't like default so I copied and layered glass on top of the regular Ice then flattened the image x_x I'll have to change that

The pessimist complains about the wind; The optimist expects it to change; And the realist adjusts the sails.

My mod: Minecraft Treevamped, a complete tree overhaul
If you helped anyone, I will +1 your post, especially if the person you helped didn't.
How? I can already get a ton of clay from a swamp.
