Don't get your hopes too high-up - Kingz used to work on a gigantic Warcraft III mod that everyone was waiting for, until his team realized he's a slacker and a very bad leader... And because of his terrible leadership, the mod failed, and it's probably dead now.
I will be VERY surprised if this mod gets finished.
How about you shut up, Deolrin. The mod is near completion. How dare you judge me and call me a slacker; I have my reasons for leaving that project, and that does not mean I am a bad project leader.
omg this looks like it will be the best mod!!! But the Moa are in Halo:Reach and they cant fly, but I think they just didnt oay attention to the bird's names in the game. Still looks awesome, it should be in the game.

... You do realize that Moas were actually real creatures in real life, right?
Dead Awesome,
To install a mod you MUST have Winrar or a program like that. You alsow need Risugamas mod loader to run most mods BUT not all(probably this needs it).in the corner of your screen if your on windows there should be a little flag button, press that and in the search bar type in"%appdata%" then open Roaming which should be the only result.Open the .minecraft folder inside the Roamingand open bin then open minecraft.jar with Winrar delete metainf(idk why) and drag and drop the files in the modloader you downloaded. Run minecraft and is doesnt work idk what happened,if it does run close it then go back into minecraft.jar and drag and drop all of the files in the Aether which you obvisly have to get :). rin the game and try to build the portal in the vid. if it doesnt work idk what you messed up with and if you get a blackscreen at the begiening then just open tthe minecraft launcher(download version) and select options then press
"Will force update" then play it should delete all everything you did in the minecraft.jar and aloww you to play!!
After waiting so long and pretty mush seeing everything there is in the videos from who ever that guy was i highly doubt I will be using this....
Okay, your loss. Games are about experiencing things first hand, otherwise they would be called movies. Besides he did not show everything in that video. Finally, no one asked weather or not you would be using the mod.
This looks simply spectacular. I really hope Notch eventually adds this to the real game... Although I was quite confused that to make the portal, you must first visit the nether to gather glowstone

I don't understand why people say this shouldn't be added to the vanilla game, because it really should. Because when a huge mod like this is still a mod, sure you can use it, but NOTHING ELSE. If it gets added to the core game, that frees up the moddingness to install other mods! Other BIG mods! Can you imagine Industrialcraft in the Aether? Or Flan's planes? Do people not realize how awesome that would be? As long as the Aether is just a mod, it's not possible, the mod is simply too big to add another on top of it. And that is a crying shame. The Aether SCREAMS for planes.
Unless of course this upcoming mod support thing is going to raise so many current limits that you can have Aether, IC, Flan's, SDK's, Plasmacraft, Plasticcraft, Better than Wolves, Nethercraft, and a whole host of others all installed AT ONCE. But I don't think it's going to do that.

Thats exactly what I'm thinking. When you make mods, there's always going to be some other mod you really love, but can't use due to possible conflicts. Nethercraft plus Aether would make an EPIC minecraft world, but the conflicts between both mods means you'll be able to play them together.
If the API holds firm and works, there may be a chance to use other mods with it.
1 word
EPIC
it might slow down minecraft tho (not that i care i can get 250 fps without any mods)
I don't understand how you do it.
I got a powerful computer with 1TB memory, 8GB RAM, and a default hardwired HD graphics card, but all I'm managing to get is 20-40 FPS. Tell me your secrets! D:
