Hide and Seek is a game older than dirt. I'm pretty sure it is, at least. Over time, people have found new and inventive ways to make it more interesting, and today's video is no exception! I play Hide and Seek (made by grapeapplesauce) with Pedro6285, Slamacow, Lewis, Prebz, CathulianCG, and Ollie, in this decidedly more stabby version of the classic game!
Here's how it works: the hiders (which is all but one person) has to navigate an eerie, dark labyrinth, looking for a key which can open the exit door. All the while, the seeker is stalking the corridors, ready to kill any players he comes across! It's an incredibly tense game mode, and well worth the playthrough. Enjoy!
MORE FEATURES FOR MINECRAFT MODS
As you may or may have not noticed, there’s a new link on the navigation bar, and it takes you to our growing Minecraft mod database on Curse.com. We’ve got 390 mods in our database, which has almost grown 400% since back in June, when we created a dedicated Forge section. So, follow the new tab on the navigation bar above, and check out our growing database of client mods!
Additionally, if you’re a mod author, check out what our hosting site can do for you. Once your mod is approved and it’s released or in beta state, it will show up in our database, linked above. Also, don’t forget to check out our Minecraft offerings like our Bukkit plugins, texture packs and see what world files others have created and shared!
Define Cute (choose 1): A) Creepers Aerbunnies C) Herobrine. If you chose A): You appeal to destruction and to stereotypes. If you chose B): You are a perfectly normal person, and enjoy the Aether Mod. If you chose C): Please leave the planet now before you set off a nuclear warhead--no one enjoys mass murders, however nice they might seem to you.
This is exactly like Hide and Go Gortume, but there's a key. Not very new or anything. I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying it's been done before, so I don't really see what the big deal is now.
okay, you program this minigame for minecraft then please. Since its so easy.
First of all, where do you think I said it was easy and that I could do it? Even though I could, I never said that. All I said was that it was done before and that I don't know why everyone is suddenly into it.
Also, by the way, this IS simple. Just requires a few command blocks and score boards. Start with a command block that teleports everyone inside the maze except for the seeker, and then after a certain time, teleport the seeker in with a sword, and then have him/her search for all of the hiders. If he's the only one remaining, have a command block teleport him back and add a point to him. If the players somehow manage to get to the end, or possibly kill the seeker than add one point to the hiders. Fairly simple.
P.S. It's not really programming with 5 command blocks and a maze, it's called map building.
So next time you quote me, don't tell me I said something that I didn't.
