Someone please help me! When i press on one of my saved worlds it says loading world but nothin happens! I have waited and waited to see if anything would happen but nothing happens at all! The same with when i try to create a new world! I cant play on online servers either it times out! Anyone have anything to help? Thanks!
Does anyone else have the low FPS problem? I got around 30fps before the update and now I'm getting around 10fps. If anyone could tell me how to fix this that would be really niceee!
I tried to kill myself in survival with tnt in survival mode and was only catapulted. I found out this was because i was in peaceful. Is this a bug, something new from the update, or is this something old that i just haven't discovered until now?

but it should be thats why it was in the snap shots for the last 2-3 months and im pretty sure they where working on it way before that. If you put it on the update and not a snap shot it should be done or minimum buggy. Its like buying a home moving all your things and family in it but the the 2nd floor and some of the 1st floor is still under contruction.
Found a glitch! I placed several of the new hardened clay blocks, stopped playing for a while, came back and restarted the game and the blocks were gone. They disappeared.

I'm so excited to try this new update, but the problem is (and this has been happening for a few days now), every time I load the game, it's kinda glitchy, and today after updating, I start out with my vision like super enlongated and I'm running really fast. Then it glitches and I go back to my starting point and my vision is normal. Then, parts of my world just aren't loading, and when I saved and quit, and then reloaded, it took me back to my starting position from my last save and the weird vision was back. So...I'd love to play around with horses and carpets and colored clay (OMG stoked), but...I can't yet. T_T I'm not sure what's wrong or if this is something that will fix itself in time.
Also, forgot to add that none of my Redstone is working. Buttons will not open doors, neither will pressure plates, and I can't get the world to load anything else that I had hooked up with some serious Redstone components to test them...
Actually, the first time no. I (wrongly) thought the new launcher would just replace and overwrite the old one. But after starting in the new 1.6 launcher again, they are still missing.
I really hate 1.6 I mean, most of it is just pointless, and the addition of the horses and horse like breeds makes vanilla feel modded. Also, have you SEEN the new launcher? It's terrible! The old one is so much better. Also, when i do /clear, I DONT WANT MY ARMOR OFF!!!

I'm waiting to install 1.6 until the server that I regularly play on updates, but I went ahead and downloaded the new launcher, setting my profile to stay on 1.5.2. I've discovered that doing so has apparently wiped Optifine from my client. So, with this new launcher and all, can I still install Optifine by manually dropping it into the minecraft.jar file (presuming it still exists, since comments upthread seem to indicate that there isn't a .jar anymore), or do I need to use the new launcher and add it through the profile editor? If the latter, how does one go about doing that?

You need the most recent Minecraft launcher (if you do not have it already)! Remember, the old launcher is no longer supported, and you will need this version in order to continue receiving updates and support!
