Just the wording on it and how they keep calling themselves famous makes me think somebody simply sent this to Notch to troll him. Of course, if it is real (and the infinite bounds of human stupidity would leave me unsurprised if it was), then Putt-Putt either has bots in charge of these letters or people who don't quite understand the internet.

I am convinced that putt-putt is really silly. Who would be stupid enough to send a threat to someone that isn't part of Mojang anymore? They don't make the maps the Minecraft players do. Why don't they understand?
I'm surprised this thread didn't explode into fanboy rage... but I'm going with Deity on this one... this seems too silly/stupid to be serious. And if it is real and performed by a human being... do your research. This is like arresting someone for writing a 'thank you' note to their parents... well, maybe not. But you get the point.

On the bright side a custom map got some recognition it would otherwise not have received. My question is how would a golf map work without a mod to let you play golf unless you make the whole course out of ice or something lol.
I hate it when companies send other companies Cease and Desist letters. Especially when they do it for no reason at all for something stupid. Like I really don't get it.

You must be confusing the fact that he left the Minecraft development team for him having left Mojang entirely; Notch is still the CEO of Mojang. Don't forget that Mojang isn't just about Minecraft. Right now, Notch is paying most of his attention to the development of 0x10c, which is also a game from Mojang.
DELETE THOSE VIDEOS AND TAKE DOWN THAT MINIGAME SERVER.
Those video streamers and hosters didn't know what they were in for.Now, because they probably don't know about this, they are going to get 'em sued.
