Creddybear - that's just the default Windows or Mac OS dialog you get when installing software/executables. It's a safe app so long as you have downloaded it directly from www.friendsforminecraft.com.

Recently found is an issue that affects a very small percentage of people (like <<<<< .01%). Until this problem is fixed, there is a workaround that seems to help some people....which is to launch Minecraft from one of the following two ways.... command line or .jar launcher:

java -cp <minecraftlauncherfile> net.minecraft.MinecraftLauncher

For example:

java -cp Minecraft.exe net.minecraft.MinecraftLauncher

Try that... see if it works... please report back here if it does.

OR

You can just download this .jar file to launch Minecraft:

https://s3.amazonaws.com/MinecraftDownload/launcher/minecraft.jar
