I strongly disagree. I have played piano for 9 years now, and can fluently play Für Elise. I have also been making electronic music for 1.5 years so I have experience there too. However, I have tried a few times to write sheet music for some of C418's songs (Dry Hands, Wooden Love) and have never been able to complete them. I get about 10 seconds into the song and hit a note or chord I just can't figure out. Some people, like me, have more trouble playing songs by ear. And you don't need to play it by ear to be a real musician.
I don't know, but it's had music for a while now. (Not on the Pocket Edition, though -.-)
EDIT: There is also an auto signature option, you know. Hover on the top-right corner, click My Settings, click Signature...
