@Creexification what do you mean New York wouldn't be as kid-friendly? I think they should host it in New York or Boston, Florida is more South Coast than East Coast.

Florida is definitely on the East Coast. Yes it is the southern east coast, but the east coast nonetheless. In the statement "more kid-friendly" I was referring to Orlando as a center of tourism consisting of many amusement parks and an abundance of hotels to choose from at a reasonable price. If you are talking about New York City, it isn't exactly the most child-friendly place nor is it affordable for most people.
Are you planning on attending Minecon 2013? Tell us about it!
I really hope I can go and be a panelist again. 2011 was amazing.
I'm hoping it takes place the weekend before or after Thanksgiving, in Disneyworld. That way I can 'convince' my family to let me go and tie it in with our annual vacation so I don't have to travel twice back to back!
I honestly wouldn't mind having it in Atlanta, considering I live near the state of Georgia. I believe if it is set to occur in the Southeast, I may be able to go.
From US to Europe and back to US. Come on Mojang, bring Minecon 2014 to Australia!
When was the last time Australia got to host a big convention?
That's what i was thinking, i mean America has probably the most minecrafter's but REALLY, i live in Australia and i reckon it should be either here, England or Asia, let some one else have Minecon!

$4000 for a ticket to go over to US east cost and thats only oneway
then by the time i get somewhere to stay and buy my ticket to minecon ill have spent $6000 on one convention not worth it tbh.
We need a convention in Australia as it costs american's $1000 to get here but it costs us $2000-4000 to visit there which is so unfair.
But hope you have fun and i hope in the future new minecons will happen near more accesible places
I agree and flight tickets for one event are just to danm expensive in comparison to American flights
Your lucky you live in the US you get Conventions all the time unlike us Australians :C
