Although I don't have an Xbox, this is pretty cool to see. Three years ago, I would never have imagined seeing Minecraft in a store, but hey, surprises happen!
It's almost like watching a baby grow up... except babies don't usually end up on retail shelves.
isn't it nicer to have the download on your console because you can have another disc in it too and you can't lose the disc? though i guess it is nice so that you can lend it to your friends

I saw these a few days ago.
Not suprised though, it would make sense to make such a large game into a buyable disc. Plus it will boom its fame a bit more.
Those are very good news. That means when minecraft will come out to PlayStation 4 (and I hope it will be as soon as possible), we will have a disc of the game.
I don't understand this... It's cheaper and better to download it off of the arcade with your microsoft points. Cheaper: You use your gas in your car to go to your local gaming store. Better: The DISK could get scratched! If you download it, it won't get ruined!
TL; DR: Why on the disk? It's cheaper and better to download it.
Gold is applied to food to enhance it, such as golden apples and carrots. This doesn't make sense. You would not smother an apple in butter, and if you did, it'd probably give you a heart-attack, not bestow you with magical healing abilities.

Retired StaffGlad to see Mojang expanding their market.
Don't worry, Microsoft created an exclusivity contract! It will never come to your console!
Not suprised though, it would make sense to make such a large game into a buyable disc. Plus it will boom its fame a bit more.
Untrue. The exclusivity deal does have an end to it. The only question is when.
Goodbye...TL; DR: Why on the disk? It's cheaper and better to download it.

Hope it comes with a 40 page or so nicely illustrated manual (which it won't).
I like manuals, good ones that is.
