Actually, I'd say those two posts probably should be in the general discussion or other games areas, too.
Like I keep saying, I'm not so much COMPLAINING as I am PUZZLED.
It seems odd to me that they'd have a posted news area, for things like this, and which is in fact also linked and referenced there, as well as a forum specifically for non-minecraft related news and information, yet put this posting, a very good posting about a quite excellent game, right at the top of the Minecraft forum.
Can't speak for everyone else, of course. Might be that others are for some reason angry.
I'm reminded of some recent news in New Jersey. The guy who played Tony Soprano in the show Sopranos recently died, and the governor had the flags raised at half-mast in his memory. This angered a lot of people, and confused others, in our area, because that particular act, done in memory of the deceased, is supposed to be reserved for members of the military, and for specific groups serving the public in a military-like fashion, (police officers and fire fighters, for example).
Nobody was saying that his passing shouldn't be honored, or that we shouldn't mourn, or that doing something special in his memory was inappropriate. It was only that that PARTICULAR method of doing so did not seem appropriate, and seemed a bit of a slap in the face to those who did perform the extraordinary services that normally warranted it.
It's a similar sort of thing here. Most of those posting who feel angered by it know, for a fact, that if they had a game they really, really liked, even if the game had a Curse-run forum or were sponsored by Mojang, that their post would either be taken down or moved to that other forum by a moderator. They'd understand, even if they didn't like it, why this was done. Yet here, front and center on the Minecraft forums for Minecraft related news and updates, is exactly that. It is confusing to them, and a bit of a slap in the face for those who have been moderated, or who have refrained out of respect FOR the forum rules and moderators.

Maybe the guy who made it works for Mojang, but just because "The guy who made it works for Mojang" doesn't make Cube World related to Minecraft in any way other than having the same original company. This IS the Minecraft forum, not the Mojang forum. All other games should be posted about in their respective forums.
He's mostly right. Although "only cares about money" is a bit of an exaggeration. Curse runs a lot of forums and wikis, and AFAIK MCF is the largest one, so it's the ideal platform for promoting new Curse sites. Cube worlds is somewhat related to Minecraft, so it makes at least a little sense to advertise on MCF. They produce a lot of content that never makes it to MCF though. Cubeworld is actually a good game currently it is getting DDOSED everyday by overflow D:! Cubeworld is the more rpg side of minecraft Only similarity is blocks *But they are voxel sized so nahhh :P*
since cube world forums are still down I'll ask this here:
my computer meets the system requirements and the demo runs fine.
the only thing I don't have is 256 MB of video RAM (I have 128).
Is this realy a problem?

Yes it is lol I have 128mb of vidram aswell and the map loads great but the game is slow itsself; I recently purchased a Graphics Card that has 1gig of videoram

Those guys a re so gonna get sued by Lego lol just loaded my son's lego games, and this game looks like a total ripoff.

Cube World does have zombies. But the main flaw is that Cube World isn't open source (as of yet) so you can't make custom plugins ins for severs.
