I didn't really have any anticipation for this update, but I really do like the beautiful redstone blocks. I just wish I knew what to use them for. LOL. I'm not much into redstone contraptions. Doesn't make a whole lotta sense to me. Please let me know if someone decides to give a tutorial or explanation of how all the new parts work.
Also. How the heck did they make the rocket ship? That was freaking awesome!

Why not fix the bugs before releasing? This will just slow things down.

When i loaded my world there was a 16x16 hole replaced by my house it was how it used to look before i built my house is this a glitch or what?

There is also a glitch/bug with the paintings you can't place them but 5-10 minutes later there are lots of paintings glitching on the blocks!!

I found this problem in the pre release.
After placing a painting, leave and rejoin your world. They should appear again.

I'm going to need to wait for a few mods to update to update to 1.5 /(._.)\

I see that the lighting still hasn't been fixed, as evidenced by the huge random patches of black shadow on building and cliff faces. What's the deal? I know this isn't a huge issue for everyone, but it's certainly killed my interest in building anything until there's a fix. I mean, creating pretty buildings is a major aspect of this game, yet at any time my buildings might be ruined by these random black patches. It's horribly frustrating and makes me just not want to play.

Wow, the performance in this update is absolutely horrible. I used to get up to 300fps with Vsync turned off, now I can hardly get past 30fps(50fps max). If I try using a 128x texture pack, I don't even get 10fps.

And no, my computer isn't underpowered or anything. I have a 3.5Ghz Six-core processor(AMD), 10GB ram, and a 2GB 550 ti graphics card.
